Perfect for small cuts on hands
This is the best to use on paper cuts and hang nails and scrapes on hands because bandages don't stay on if you're washing your hands all day. I find it doesn't usually sting until the *second* time you apply it to a small cut, but I'm ok with it. Irritating little wounds heal faster and hurt less once they're coated with this.I also use it for scrapes elsewhere, mostly because I get annoyed with having bandages on. It's best for small wounds, obviously, but I find it helps me avoid scarring, which my skin is prone to. It's also more discreet than a bandage if it's somewhere visible, like the arms or face. It can still be seen but less obviously. It's a great addition to a travel or first aid kit because it doesn't take up much space and it's so useful. Plus, I always seem to hurt my hands carrying suitcases and such on a trip! I just wish there could be a plastic version because I'm always afraid I'll break the glass bottle on a trip. Hasn't happened yet, though. There's a different kind for kids from the same brand that doesn't sting but also doesn't stay on as long. If the sting really bothers you or younger ones, you can give that a try.

Good for cuts and first aid kits.
Stings like heck (like a solvent/astringent) but is superior to band aids for many types of cuts and broken blisters. I recently had a stubborn scrape on the back of my Achilles tendon. It wouldn't heal using just Neosporin and band aids. With New Skin it healed in about 3 days. One more thing: I recommend getting a few smaller bottles as opposed to a bigger one just in case the product hardens at the top (like super glue it may harden closed). Good luck!

Ok item
Works great. Jist I left it in my car 1 day and temp was about 90 outside. The bottle exploded and made a mess in my car . Didnt expect that . Aside from that its thick and adds a protective layer to cuts.

It works great
I cut myself pretty deep on my pinkie knuckle, probably should have went in for it but I bought this instead. This stuff works! I work with food and I’m constantly washing my hands, I wore a bandaid for a few days at first (while waiting for this to arrive) and it looked like it was starting to get infected. I started using this “new skin” and it doesn’t budge and it puts a waterproof layer over my cut that also desensitized it when bumped or rubbed and etc. I’m glad I found this instead of using super glue lol iykyk. Anyway, this stuff also helped at healing my cut! After a couple days it will get itchy because it’s healing, I peeled it off and it took all the dead skin/infected looking dead skin with it and didn’t hurt at all. Definitely recommend!!

Effective Protection and Healing for Wounds - NEW-SKIN Liquid Bandage Delivers!
I recently had a minor but painful accident that left a significant cut on my left hand's index finger. Dealing with the pain and the constant risk of dirt and further injury was challenging until a friend recommended NEW-SKIN Liquid Bandage. This product turned out to be a lifesaver, providing effective protection and aiding in the healing process. The first thing I noticed about NEW-SKIN Liquid Bandage was its ability to create a sturdy, waterproof seal over my wound. This liquid bandage created a protective barrier that shielded the exposed flesh under my fingernail from dirt, moisture, and potential infections. I no longer had to worry about accidentally hitting my injured finger on objects as the liquid bandage provided an additional layer of armor.Upon application, I did experience a slight stinging sensation, but it was tolerable and short-lived. The initial discomfort was a small price to pay for the immense relief and benefits it brought afterward. The liquid bandage dried quickly and formed a transparent and flexible cap that adhered firmly to the wound. It was virtually unnoticeable and allowed for a natural range of motion, which was essential for everyday activities. What truly impressed me was the impact on the healing process. The NEW-SKIN Liquid Bandage proved to be highly effective in promoting faster healing. It acted as a protective shield, preventing further irritation or contamination, which expedited the body's natural healing mechanisms. I noticed a visible improvement in the wound's condition, and the pain gradually diminished as the healing progressed.I can confidently say that NEW-SKIN Liquid Bandage has been a true lifesaver for my finger injury. It effectively protected the wound from dirt, provided a sturdy cap, and significantly aided the healing process. While the initial stinging sensation was a minor inconvenience, its benefits outweighed it. If you're looking for a reliable and efficient solution to protect and promote healing for scrapes and minor cuts, I highly recommend trying NEW-SKIN Liquid Bandage. It's a game-changer in wound care, and I am incredibly grateful for its effectiveness and convenience.

Hurts worse than the papercut, but worth the suffering (probably)
Incredibly painful when applied to cuts or open wounds, but also effective at preventing infection and aiding healing. Smells like nail polish, or acetone nail polish remover. Viscerally unpleasant! But like I said, very effective for keeping wounds clean, particularly on tricky places like fingers.

Great item especially if band aids won't stick or are unavailable
Before use make sure you clean the cut or abrasion so you don't lock germs in the wound. This works great to protect cuts and in my experience has even reduced the pain when moving body parts. I've used mostly on hands but that is not a limit for anyone else. It may sting when first applied but second or more layers are free of pain. I keep one in the first aid box one in the garage and one in the car

Not a perfect solution
Burns. You have to use two layers and you are supposed to take it off by applying more and rubbing off while wet, which could hurt your wound...but mine just peels off before I'm ready. I bought it for a cut between my fingers...what else are you going to do for places like that?
