Good value
I have used Arnold Maxi Edge for several years. Used to get it at Tractor Supply but it seems like they don't carry it anymore. I do a lot of trimming including along chain link fence, sidewalk edging, knocking down a barrier between the field and the lawn. I even use it to keep the hedges under control. It cuts clean, doesn't usually weld itself together in the spool (probably my fault anyway) and stands up to abuse without breaking or fraying too much. I buy in bulk, save a lot of money and enjoy the convenience of not having to run to the store constantly.

never knew trimmer string could make this much difference
Highly recommend! 15 feet of this lasted longer than 50 feet of standard timer string. Much more flexible, less brittle, and more durable. Cuts thick weeds that normal string won't handle. Tested against brick, concrete, chain link, thick brush and blackberry bushes for 2 hours and never had to reload!

Lacks durability
The string breaks very easily. Going through quite a bit compared to the others I have used in the past. Will not purchase again.
