One of my best ever buys
Under 6 cm so you can take it on a plane from the UK, which already makes it more useful than most multitools. Genuinely one of my best ever buys — tiny, lightweight and way more capable than it looks. The tools all open smoothly, the Phillips driver is brilliant for quick fixes, and the scissors are sharp enough for everyday jobs. It’s versatile too, whether you’re travelling, doing small repairs, opening packages or just keeping it on your keys for those “glad I had this” moments. Looks great, feels properly made and disappears in your pocket without adding weight. For the price, it’s great value — compact, reliable and easily one of the most useful little tools you can carry.

Best car key swiss army knife
I have had many edc knifes and more expensive utility edc but have settled on this as my main go to, so much so that I have purchased a couple on all my keys. For me it is the perfect size to go with car keys which would be in your pocket all day while also maintaining great practicality. The small knife while not fit for cutting up hudreds of boxes it is sharp and perfect for the odd cutting job like letter or box opening. The bottle opener with a phillips screwdriver head is great for small screws on items like sunglasses and electrical products, the things that usually have to be fixed on the go when with your kids! Scissors are handy to have, will even trim up a ragged nail etc -Ive even found the tweezers useful for removing the odd wood splinter. All in all the perfect edc swiss army knife in size, cost and practicality!

My third (Is that an addiction?)
These knives are so useful. My first was a Manager, which I keep with my car keys. I often forgot it when I didn't need my car keys so I bought another. My second is a Mini Champ, which I keep with my camper van keys. Now I have this Rambler to keep in my rucksack for first aid and repairs while hiking. Victorinox quality is excellent and even these mini knives are well executed and very sharp. There are so many variants to choose from, it's hard to say which is better. For me, the scissors have been the most used feature, followed by the knife, and in that respect, the Classic SD ticks the boxes and is a perfect no-nonsense tool at a decent price. All mine, however, have a useful bottle opener and Philips screwdriver tool in common, which is missing from the Classic SD. In fact, the Rambler is a Classic SD with a bottle opener. The Manager is a Rambler with retractable pen instead of a toothpick, and the Mini Champ is a Manager with an extra blade and more features on top. I love them all!

Victorinox Rambler
I own a few different Victorinox knives but all are the 91mm or larger. I wanted a smaller one to fit on my keys so I’d have a tool with me at all times. I have to admit I wasn’t sure about the smaller ones as I had some concerns about how robust they would be. No need to worry, as soon as you get it in your hand you can feel the typical quality you would expect from Victorinox. Obviously these 58mm knives aren’t designed for heavy work but I probably use this one more than the others and they are excellent for everyday general work. I chose the Rambler because it had the right mix of tools for my needs and even though they are quite pricey, I think they are worth the extra.

A must have
A must have, everything you need, nothing you don’t and in a very compact but useable size. I keep in jeans 5th pocket and don’t notice it’s there.

Great little tool
This is such a dinky little penknife. Looks great. Plenty of good, useful features on such a small item. Easy to carry around, I attach it to my key ring.

Perfect Keyring SAK - Best in 58mm Range
I think the Rambler is the perfect compromise between the Minichamp and Classic SD. The Minichamp, to me, has a number of superfluous tools (you need an orange peeler?!) and the SD lacks the bottle opener/Phillips screwdriver tool. In addition the Minichap is a little chunky for a key chain or thin trousers (suits etc). The size and reassuring red celidor scales (a cultural icon) make this pretty sheeple proof. As pointed out by another reviewer, the slight increase in depth makes the tool a little more comfortable than the SD. The Rambler is not so easy to find as the SD or Minichamp and looks a little pricey compared to SD (often very close in price to the Minichamp) - but is worth every penny and will last a lifetime. After years of being obsessed with SAKs with loads of tools I have finally seen the light and realised less is often more. My two current favourite Victorinox models are the Rambler and the Compact - near perfect combination of most useful tools and overall size.

The best 58mm victorinox
Quite easily the best of the 58mm victorinox series. I find the mini champ has a few extra and unnecessary implements (just my opinion) and has all the necessary tools. I switched out the scales for a custom set that can hold a pen in the side aswell. Very handy.

Minik dev

Upgraded from the Classic SD — Worth It
I carried a Victorinox Classic SD for years and loved it. Then I switched to the Rambler, and it immediately became obvious this was a smarter, more capable version of the Classic. It keeps the same compact, lightweight, keychain-friendly feel, but adds a magnetic Phillips screwdriver, bottle opener, and wire stripper. Those extra tools make a real difference and covers almost everything. The scissors are sharp, the blade is perfect for everyday jobs, and the build quality is exactly what you expect from Victorinox. Nothing feels cheap or wasted. If you liked the Classic SD and want more function without extra bulk, this is the upgrade. For everyday carry, this hits the sweet spot.

Super comapct, but super useful
This multi-tool is really small: I put it on a ring with keys and now with me always: knife, scissors and tweezers. I am always need them: to cut the thread, to open the box or to remove a splinter.

Pequeña y útil
Pequeña, versátil, de calidad, económica... acaba por hacerse imprescindible. Una magnífica compañera para el día a día, eso sí: de pequeño tamaño, lo cual es una ventaja o un inconveniente que cada quien debe valorar
