Cellucor Alpha Amino EAA & BCAA Powder – Perfect Post-Workout Drink!
I’ve been using the Cellucor Alpha Amino EAA & BCAA Powder in Watermelon flavor for a few weeks now, and this is actually a repeat order because I’m so impressed with it! This powder is packed with essential amino acids (EAAs) and branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), making it the perfect supplement to support recovery after intense workouts. The watermelon flavor is incredibly refreshing, and it tastes great without being overly sweet. I love that it’s not too sugary, and it mixes easily with water, leaving no clumps behind. The addition of electrolytes helps with hydration, especially during those long or intense training sessions. I’ve noticed a decrease in muscle soreness and faster recovery times since I started using it, which has been a game-changer for my workouts. The 30 servings per container also makes it a great value for the price, and I appreciate that it comes in a convenient and well-sealed container.

Can't believe I've been working out without this !!!
Can't believe I've been working out without this !!! This thing absolutely works 100%. After many years exercising on and off I decided to pick up again 3 months ago going heavier and more intense over time. At the time I'm doing 5-6 days a week, cardio and weight training. A few years ago I picked up cycling as well but as most people know being sore after weight training is a common thing is you worked out heavy or performed a HIT . This could hinder your next day's workout significantly if you don't recover right. After taking C4 for 2 weeks this thing is amazing. I was always skeptical that it would a marketing gimmick but with C4 not the case. It's 0 calories and tastes fine. I see some reviews on here that complained about clumping but I think that is the nature of the product. As soon as you mix it with water it dissolves as expected. This post workout has reduced my lactic acid build up and soreness to more than 50%. I am able to workout just as intense as the day before. I don't take it during the workout I take right after. Then 30 minutes after I eat a high protein meal or protein shake. This thing is awesome. Highly recommended

It lacks the Essential Amino Acid Tryptophane
Advertisement says it has "essential" aminos, not ALL the essential aminos. I was suprised to find that missing from the ingredients is the essential amino acid tryptophane. Internet quote: "Tryptophan is an essential amino acid that helps the body produce proteins, enzymes, muscles, and neurotransmitters. It's also a precursor to serotonin, a hormone that sends signals between nerve cells. Tryptophan is found in red meat, poultry, eggs, and dairy, and the body can't produce it on its own." Well, I guess I can just eat some peanut butter with it, which is a source of tryptophane. But I suppose that the tryptophane is not immediately available from peanut butter, but is in a protein which has to be broken down with the help of HCl in the stomach to get to the amino acid. So I bought tryptophane separately. There used to be some kind of prohibition vs selling tryptophane, which prohibition has been lifted. That may account for an older formulation not having tryptophane. But I bought trypophane separately, so it's omission is not the end of the world. The taste is not horrible, it is OK. (Now why would I cry like a baby over an imperfect taste? I could drink something for my health even if it did not taste good, so long as not nauseating.)My purpose in taking these aminos is to enable my body to absorb the aminos without first having to digest them & break them down into amino acid(s). I think that when one is trying to cure an ulcer with proton pump inhibiter(s), the proton pump inhibiters may cause amino acid deficiencies by preventing the digestion of proteins, the break down of proteins into absorbable amino acids (facilitated) by stomach acid. If proton pump inhibiters raise the ph of the stomach (lower HCl acidity), then they might inhibit disgestion of protein. So I think that taking amino acid supplements should be done if one is on protein pump inhibiters, though one would need medical doctor advise on this.I got diarrhea after taking this. I am not sure that Alpha Amino caused it. So perhaps one should take psyllium powder (available without suger as Konsyl) with Alpha Amino. This powder I take both to prevent diarrhea & constipation. After an anal fissure my surgeon told me to take psyllium twice a day the rest of my life. One might investigate how psyllium affects the digestion of amino acids, if at all.

Works well. Relieves muscles
I’m not young, so the pain relief upon muscle recovery is noticeable. I drink half my mixture before and half after my workouts.

Tastes different
What changed in this? I got a new jar and it does not taste like it did with the last one I ordered? Did they change up their formula?? Put it back like it was. It's not bad, just has an after taste that I don't care for because it wasn't there with the last jar.
