Love love love this TV!
The red frame looks kinda cool. This is my first 4K TV and really enjoy the picture quality. It makes my XBOX 1X gaming experience Pop! The smart app features and remote are great. TV is so easy to use and set up. Sound quality is decent but not great but NO TV sound is great these days. Added aVIZIO sound bar which works with the remote and now I’m all set.I will add that I did have a few dead pixels on the far right side of the screen (hardly notable). Honestly it was the first time I ever had dead pixels on a new device but I kept it. No complaints. I gave this TV five stars, that is how awesome this intro level 4K set is even with a few dead pixels. And did I mention this set was far less expensive than comparable sets with lesser features. Great deal, great TV.

Beautiful
The TV came on time and looks beautiful in Red. Tested the quality by playing Chef's Table on Netflix (Pastry season. Recommend using this as a test of quality) and it looks amazing in 4K. I would highly recommend this TV. It is much faster than prior Vizio tv's. The fact that it comes with a remote that is different too than similar Vizio models really makes it special (its red and has hulu and netflix dedicated buttons which other Vizio's have Crackle instead). The box was dented very slightly in the corner but the TV was fine and has no scratches or dents.

Great tv but has some small issues that need to be fixed.
The picture quality, connectivity, and interface are great, but I’ve had this tv for only a month and already I’ve had issues with Smartcast software locking up and backlight flickering. VISIO: Please fix these issues with a software update if possible.

Good Quality TV
Great quality and color rendering, definition spot on. Excellent for sports when the improved definition is more apparent. Great workmanship, remote is beautiful but there are two spots on the screen which I assume are malfunctioning LED's? Only visible on the black screen on start up however so I'm not that bothered. Maybe I'm a bit harsh on smart features rank because I use a firestick. I couldn't use the Vizio smartcast due to regional restrictions (I'm outside USA). Overall a good TV, I didn't mind paying a little extra for the RED product and for the Quantum model instead of the standard version.

Beautiful TV...until you turn it on
I did my research and the Vizio M-Quantum seemed like a good deal. This specific model came with a red border and a donation to a good cause. How could I say no? The setup was comparable to most electronic devices: turn on, connect to wifi, download software updates... The TV updated its software for about a good 30 minutes and restarted several times as part of the process. I use the TV mostly as a monitor (I do not have cable TV--I either buy movies or watch from Amazon Prime and one other streaming service.) After that, hooking up devices was simple using HDMI cables. I hooked up a 4K blu ray player and an appleTV. The VIZIO TV immediately added both without a problem. Now since then I have been struggling with the image. I was never all that much a fan of the color orange and that seems to be what these TV generates the most, especially on faces (see images). Not only do they look orange, they look like the orange is layered on. So, I started working on the picture settings. It has several picture modes...calibrated, computer, vivid, standard... Vivid is nice until you see someone's face with orange smeared on it. The closest that came to eliminating the overly pronounced orange tint was the "computer" picture setting. At that point I tried to create a customized picture setting. This TV allows you to change a number of picture settings. I did my research and found that VIZIO recommends reducing color before changing tint if you have excessive orange. I tried that and the amount of color I had to remove was almost all of it, unless I changed the tint so much that people no longer looked flesh-toned.At that point, I changed my HDMI cables to cables that can process up to 8K. I noticed some improvement on my 4K movies, but the problem was still obvious. There was some improvement on through internet and AppleTV, but it was negligible.Once again I started to work on multiple picture settings. The best answer I could find was to change the backlight setting to zero and max up the color and brightness setting along with play with multiple other settings. But the common denominator was moving backlight to zero. However, it is clear that the overall picture is nowhere near close to what it is supposed to be in terms of color. I have a two Panasonic Vieras (one 12 years old and the other 10) that have a better images than this VIZIO. It's a shame to see such a more image this late in the evolution of flat screens.Ultimately, you want a TV with that displays an images that are close to the correct colors. This VIZIO does not meet that criteria, so I do not recommend.

Excellence in RED
Software was originally a little glitchy but an update fixed that. Otherwise a great television. The remote is a nice aluminum and heavy duty remote. A couple of the buttons can be a little hard to press, but still nice. The red aluminum body to the actual television is also nice, and grabs a lot of attention from people surprisingly.

Great picture quality
This was bought for my son who is an avid gamer. The graphics are amazing. It looks like you are right in the video game! He absolutely loves it!
