The Switch Sparkling Juice, Variety Pack, 8- Fl. Oz Cans (Pack of 24)

In short: Switch is exactly what it tries to be. It is a 100% juice with carbonation. You pay for the carbonation, flavors and convenience. I have found competitors tend to have a lower juice percentage and/or augment the juice with Splenda or similar alternate. Just be aware of what you want. If it is a carbonated, 100% juice drink, give Switch a try (or 24 if you grab the variety pack). Full Review: I purchased the variety pack, with concern for spending so much on a gamble. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the drinks and size. It is a great treat every other day or so. I think the 8oz size is perfect for accompanying a meal or on its own. Like everyone, I have my favored flavors but there aren't any that I find undrinkable or unpleasant. I've seen/read some concerns over the calories/sugar/sweetness of the drinks that reviews say detract from the drink. Quite frankly, I don't know if these reviewers know what is in fruit. The only way to decrease these values is to remove the 100% fruit juice element which is half of this product, at least to me. (The other being carbonation) I die a little every time I find a great looking product only to see the little Splenda logo. If you like Splenda, more power (and products) to you :) You can easily add water to this drink if the taste or stats are too much for you, but you can't subtract it, so I think Switch is perfect. Like many fruit juices, Switch uses grape and apple juice as fillers. An example is the fruit juice order in the Orange Tangerine is "apple, grape, tangerine, orange and acerola" I don't find the taste has suffered and I know the price is more manageable, from the use of apple and grape juice. Since there might be parents reading, I don't have kids, but believe it would be great for kids. I know price is a concern, but I believe soda should be a treat not a staple food. They are 8oz in place of the traditional 12oz of soda. This gives your child less sugar (none refined) and a skinnier can to hold on to or package in a lunch box. (Also, no little straw to break off and get lost!) I can't honestly tell you if I would have been willing to be different as a kid and have a Switch in place of a soda, but I know I definitely want it now. If your kids don't want it in their lunch box, put it in yours. :)

I've been drinking Izze brand sparkling juice for a few months now, but I wanted to try this brand to see how it compares overall. I do very much enjoy it. It is very sweet, and despite being actually a blend of various juices (Apple, grape, black cherry and one more that I can't remember right now) it does have a very nice and strong but not overpowering cherry flavor. There is a very slight hint of apple at first, but that does go away fast. To be fair, Izze also mixes 2 or 3 juices along with the main "flavor" of juice with their product. One thing to consider, is per ounce this actually has MORE calories then many soda pops. Unlike Izze, they are reconstituting the juices with the carbonated water. Which does make for a stronger and sweeter juice, but also means that an 8 ounce can has about 120 calories. That's roughly the same as a 12 ounce can of soda. Still, there's no added sugars, and each can does boast 100 percent daily allowance of vitamin C so IMO the calories are a fine compromise over a High Frutose Corn Syrup laden soda pop with little nutritional value. To again compare Izze, they claim 70 percent juice, 30 percent carbonated water, and about 80 to 90 calories a can. I do also like Izze, but at the same time the flavor isn't as strong for probably obvious reasons. Anyway, I'm quite happy with this product and I plan on getting more when this runs out, perhaps this flavor, perhaps a flavor also shared by Izze to compare (Izze doesn't have a cherry juice flavor, Switch does seem to have more variety in flavors). Although shipping and packaging isn't part of this review's rating (and I'll be rating that in the proper section) I will mention that Amazon.com did package this fairly well, there were no loose or dented cans, and shipped quickly via 2 day Fed-Ex shipping (I have an amazon.com Prime account). So for those worried about ordering a case of canned juice via Fed-Ex (Or UPS, my last order of Izze were shipped via UPS), don't be worried or concerned. In my experience, they package it well.

The Switch has truly come out with a product that should have mass appeal. A carbonated juice drink with ONLY natural sugars and it tastes great. No artificial sweeteners like Splenda or the toxic High Fructose Corn Syrup (corn sugar) just plain ole juice...though there's nothing plain about the taste of this stuff. It's fantastic. It comes in 8 flavors (6 in this variety pack) and each one has their own unique appeal. Starting with the watermelon/strawberry mix. I love it cause it's a nice blend of the two without either over powering the other to create a smooth drink that should please lovers of both flavors. The other mix is the orange/tangerine and it too is a nice blend, with the tangerine balancing out the orange very nicely. The other flavors include: Black Cherry (my personal favorite and the best tasting juice of the the entire line); Kiwi Berry (an unusual choice but I liked it even though it does have just a bit of a dull flavor); Grape (my mom liked it even though she hates grape so it's a winner. Not an over powering flavor either.) and finally lemon-lime (the one I thought I'd hate turned out to be one I actually liked enough to re-order it). I find myself drinking two or three of these a day and it's become my go to beverage after or during a meal. I also stopped drinking soda several years ago and this has been the perfect replacement for that. P.S. my mother is a diabetic and has been drinking one of these nearly every day for a few weeks now with no ill effects. Just in case anyone was wondering.

First, my shipment arrived without any dent or leak in any of the cans which is awesome. I will begin to review all the flavors (except for cherry, I have not tried the cherry one) : - Grape : This one is my favorite. It tastes almost like normal grape soda but you can still taste the real fruit juice. It leaves the after taste of real grape juice. The carbonation is about the right amount. - Orange : My second favorite flavor. It was very yummy and taste very real. If you let a friend drink it, he/she will be able to tell it is made from real juice and not artificial flavor. - Lemon lime : Great combination of flavors. The tartness is just right but the flavor is just ok, nothing impressive. - Kiwi/berry & Watermelon/strawberry : I found these two too sweet. The kiwi/berries taste is too strong it almost reminds me of artificial flavors in candy. - Cherry : I did not try this flavor but my boyfriend said it is his favorite and he loves it. Bottom line : Get this variety pack to see what flavors you like. My bf and I both love carbonated drinks but stopped drinking regular soda a while ago due to high fructose corn syrup. The can size is a little small but it is easy to pack with your lunch to take on the go.

No ADDED sugar, 100% juice and 2 servings of fruit per CAN is amazing! ❤ Izze brand is only 70% juice, means a lot of water and less health benefits. We actually NEED SOME sugar every day, so don't panic over the 100% natural (from the fruit itself) sugar content. Yes, they are a little bit sweet, but they are 100% fruit. Sweeter than soda, but 100% better for you! 😁 Added sugar is the worst, because you are not getting if from the actual source and it adds it to our daily intake to the naturally sweet fruits and vegetables in food. And of course, diet drinks can lead to many dangerous health problems. One of these a day, is a great addition to your diet (2 added servings of fruit each, no ADDED sugar). Most people don't eat enough fruits/vegies each day. "The USDA's Dietary Guidelines recommend adults eat anywhere from 5 to 13 servings of fruits and vegetables per day depending on age, gender, physical activity, and overall health." ⚕ I drink 1 a day for wonderful flavor and the 2 servings of fruit per can. Go ahead, pop the top and drink up. Your tastebuds & body will thank you.

I like the Switch drinks because they have no added sugars, no caffeine and no food dyes. The orange tangerine is my favorite flavor of all the ones available. It tastes just like fresh tangerine juice but with sparkling water added. Drink this stuff all the time. It is a great alternative to morning orange juice if you want a canned juice with shelf life. Just remember it is a sparkling carbonated drink. Some reviewers have said that it tastes like Tang. No, it doesn't. It has a very strong Tangerine flavor that most people would find to be "odd". Tangerine, unlike orange, taste slightly tangy and bitter. If you are used to it, or actually like the taste of tangerine, you will love this drink, as I do. If anything, it sort of tastes like the Mexican drink "Orange Bang", only it's better. Unfortunately, prices have gotten out of hand.

I have ordered this product many times and finally decided to write a review as to why I like it so much. I drink soda occasionally but I like to have an alternative every now and then and this product is perfect for those times. I like the idea of being able to have a variety although my favorite flavors are grape and black cherry. However, the other flavors taste just as good. At first I thought that the 8.3 ounces wasn't enough but it's actually just the right serving especially if having it with a late night snack. I have placed this item on auto delivery to have one case delivered once a month but if my 6 year old twin sons keeping begging me for some I may have to have 2 cases delivered once a month. I started out with the Izze drinks but I like this product much better. Happy drinking.

Tried only Black Cherry so far. 8oz can is very small - just an observation. Taste is very good and refreshing. But, like others have noted, the Black Cherry has been cut with some apple juice. Aftertaste is of apple juice more than black cherry. Good, but if I’d wanted apple juice I’d have gotten apple juice. The more of the Black Cherry I drink the more it tastes like just black cherry flavored apple juice. Still refreshing but it really seems to be no more than flavored apple juice which can be bought by the gallon at the grocery store for much much less money. So nice try but it is not what was noted anywhere on the order product pages. At least the Izzy or whatever the other brand was noted that apple juice was mixed in with theirs. At the end of the can of “Black Cherry “ the taste is almost all apple juice with just a hint of carbonated cherry. No thank you.
