The Kew Gardens Wonderful Flowers Colour-by-Numbers: Over 40 Beautiful Images (Kew Gardens Arts & Activities, 11)

I'm so glad I bought this colouring book! I have a lot of Millie Marotta ones but I fancied a change and I love flowers so opted for this! There are coloured mini images inside the front and back pages and a colour key so you can decide which pens or pencils to use (I use Staedtler Triplus fineliners). The numbers inside the sections are the perfect size, not too small so you can't read the number and not too large that they become obvious. I've only coloured in one image so far (the gerberas) but all of the flower designs are beautiful and I will definitely do them all and not leave any out. Highly recommended!

The Kew Garden adult colouring books are by far the best, many others have pictures theatre not easy to follow the painting on one side and the colour chart at the back of the book is brilliant.One thing I have found is that you need quality colouring pencils to go with them. I purchased a Fabre Castel selection the more you pay the wider the selection, get the Faber Castle pencil sharpener it has three sharpening levels which means the coloured pencils have a separate sharpener which means it only sharpens the end not to much of the pencil

It is for the feint hearted as many are complex and for those of us whose sight is impaired could be hard. Beautiful paper and good size. Im going to transfer one to watercolour paper to see how i fare.

This is a nice book with some lovely flowers tocolour.I use wax based pencils and the pictures really stand out.

My wife loves these books but how do you stop the numbers showing through on a kew gardens colour by number
