Very inaccurate readings, over 20 PSI discrepancy
I thought i received It really nice looking high quality gauge when I got this. I installed it on a tank I have and as I was pressurizing it I noticed it was reading way off from my tire filler gauge. So I tested it against three other gauges I have, and all of them were within a pound or two except this gauge which was in some cases over 20 lb off from the rest. I did not need a high accuracy gauge but this is ridiculous. It's really a shame because this really does look and feel like a very nice gauge.

Why use a glycerin filled gauge
For the price this glycerin filled gauge was quite accurate and very easy to use. It is glycerin filled to lubricate the internal mechanism and dampens the vibration to make it more durable. Machines vibrate and gauges often give up prematurely . This also enables it to be more accurate and will last a long time.

OK for non-critical applications.
Mine worked on my Case skidsteer for about a year, then I guess the internal seal blew and was leaking engine oil for an hour or more till I discovered it. Luckily, I didn't seize the engine! My lesson here is to not skimp on something that might've cost me $15k in damages. I returned to Amazon and bought a different manufacturer's gauge for over twice the cost... now I realize that -for my application- that's money well spent.BTW, I had purchased two of these for my diesel engine's oil pre-luber (one gauge for the engine input pressure, the other showing the charge on the pre-luber... with a 12v valve in between). There was a 6lb pressure difference between them when the 12v valve was wide open. So, don't count on accuracy with this gauge.

Works Great
The gauge arrived well packaged and in a timely manner. Overall craftsmanship looked good. Threads had no issues. I applied a little Teflon tape and installed it into my filter housing and not I can read my diesel trucks diesel pressure while running in the engine bay. I have been running it for a few weeks now with no issues. Once I get more trucks on the road I will make sure to order a few more. exactly what I needed to monitor diesel fuel pressure in my engine bay.

Great Gauge
Who knows how accurate it is really? I have't tested it along another gauge. That being said, it displays a reading! And using this gauge and a fuel pressure regulator, I picked up a LOT of power. And now my carb doesn't flood anymore. The liquid inside is about half way, not close to the top as in the picture. What it's for is to smooth out the needle from bouncing. The needle doesn't bounce anyway, so I'm happy with this. The install didn't leak and all is well.

High Quality
I probably don't use this gauge the way the company intended... I have a 10 year old Hayward pool filter that has a gauge on the top. Over the last 10 years I have replaced this gauge at least 5 times and each time after only a few months the gauges stop working. The standard gauges from Hayward and other companies are not sealed and quickly leak, fill with rain water, rust and then grow algae making them unreadable and useless. This gauge is stainless steal, sealed and has lasted longer than any other at a lower price. I highly recommend this gauge based on durability.

Feels like a good gauge, well built.
At first I thought I had been ripped off. The gauge was just barely over half full of fluid. I know I am at a higher altitude so I pulled the fill plug over a bit and sure enough quite a bit of pressure came out and the fluid level is now perfect.

Would buy again
The gauge works good. I had the same issue as others with there being a rather large air bubble in this fluid filled gauge. Venting the bubble out the fill cap didn't do much (which the gauge has a label that recommends to do). As for function this gauge works great and for the cost it's hard to complain. I would buy again

Functions as it should
I installed this pressure gauge to monitor inlet fuel pressure on my Holley Sniper EFI setup. I compared the displayed pressure with a known calibrated gauge, and it reads within 2% of the calibrated gauge. Well worth the money spent. Only minor complaint is that it could be filled a little more with glycerin at the factory.
