Buy it!!! Don't think about it, just buy itttt!!! :)
Yes, Go ahead and buy it💯✅️ This thing is worth every penny and I can assure you will not regret this as long as you know what you want and you understandyour setups. For the first time in my life I'm getting quality base out of my subwoofer. With this brutus you get power and quality at the same time....even if its old school, still its 2024 and all i can say is that old is gold :) I have been really saving for one year to buy this mono and finally the long wait is over. I bought this a week ago and took it to my local installer to set it up for me on my head unit. During the test, it pushed his two rockville d415" 1500rms(both at 3000rms) at 1 ohms like they were nothing.....it made those two subwoofer speakers beat hard and properly like its supposed to, lol. I'm now running it on my skar evl 15 d2 single at my house home but I'm planning to add same evl but swap it to two d4 to get 1 ohm . I'm telling you this mono with my single 15" evl runs very well, its 1250rms....i think it was made for it. I feel the base all around my Skin and skin hairs😄 all the way to my chest when it pounds or hits the base and at the same time its deafening in a very good and soft way. The mono doesn't even get warm with my single evl d2. But during the test with those two 15s rockville it got warm but nothing beyond that as we ran it for some few hours to make sure the item performs like it should. So its fair to say its build quality is superb 👌 👏 👍 and also it lights and glows very weĺl at night which makes me more happier when i look at it. It also has a good subsonic filter to protect my subwoofer from extremely low bases and the best part is that its lpf starts from 30, I am a die hard fan of soft, low and quality base and this brutus does it✊️✅️💯. My wiring is 2awg and i use power supply of 240 amperes to run it independently. Soon enough im upgrading it to 350 amperes then swith fully to two 15"D4s. I can agree its power hungry and for those planning to buy it make sure you use 2awg or 1/0awg cables and good furrels and good power or serious battery and it'll serve you well. It came with base knob, lan key, mounting screws stickers and small manual. Ooh, item is very big and heavy but still like it the way it is Ill upload small videos soon....Otherwise I'll keep posting how it is with time but for now I'm very happy with this thing, thank you hifonics! Update....1 I remember during the test with my installer, my 100amp fuse blew, so ive ordered 500amp and 300amp new fuses from amazon, atleast I'll be able to run it hard...for now, not much base and volume

Budget meets power. Not exactly 3000rms but huge power.
300 dollars for this amount of clean sounding power is certainly a great deal. Amp does get hot, although I run it for at least an hour straight on 90 degree weather with my gain just a bit over matching my head unit. This needs power. 2AWG or 0 g international is a must and it needs at least a 200 amp fuse just after the battery (for 1 ohm load). I have a 300 amp alternator with the proper big 3 upgrade and it absolutely slams. Dual yellow optima batteries in series. Should be about perfect for this monster. You need well built subs to reach full potential. Set it up correctly. Use large decent quality wiring and the big 3 upgrade. Having a better alternator and more than 1 battery will help. SET YOUR GAIN RIGHT IT IS NOT A VLUME KNOB. Find out your rms watts out of your receiver. My Kenwood is 2 volts rca out. I usually draw out the gain knob and measure lines to find what is close to matching since I do not have any equipment from Steve Meade. Gain can commonly be between 1/2 and 2/3rds tops. For best quality don't bass boost. Once the amp reaches full output it overrides it anyway, not worth clipping. Other nice features are phase shift, center frequency, wavelength adjustment along with the more standard hpf and lpf. You don't see these on other budget amplifiers. I am assuming the efficiency is fair. Never blew a 200 amp fuse. This Brutus 3016.1 D is paired up with my CT Sounds Exo 15 D2 wired to 1 ohm. This sub is rated at 2500 RMS 5000 watt peak, and believe me... it pounds. At least a 3 inch excursion and I have not had a mechanical bottom even with frequencies between 25-35 hertz. Absolutely worth every penny. The sub-woofer weighs 75 pounds. I fit these in a tight spaced convertible trunk and I've already had police complaints. This is the biggest mono-block class D amp Hifonics makes currently with the exception of the Elite and Goliath etc. It does get hot, but it's on the brink of insanity. It's not exactly a certified 3000 watts RMS, but I bet it'll pass a Dynamic burst test with good voltage. Get this amp. Thumbs up! Update. I purchased this in 2016. it is almost 2023. I sent it to hell and back and then again. Although the blue led lights stopped working this thing still sounds like I just bought it. Non stop hearing loss and loosening objects on vehicle. Verified heard from 3 or 4 blocks away. Sounds incredible in my Mountaineer aka ford explorer. Flexes the darn roof like a wave pool. Amazing for under 300 dollars.

Great amp for the price
I've had two Kicker CompRs (500 watts RMS each) in my trunk, but I was seriously underdriving them with the Kicker amp I had that put out 300 watts RMS, so I decided to go for the upgrade. I was willing to pay for big name brand quality, but not if I didn't have to. I went with the Hifonics Brutus 2016.1 because it provides 1000 watts RMS over a 2 ohm impedance load, which is exactly what my subs needed (2 4ohm wired together = 2 ohm). I had read good things about Hifonics on the message boards. Key features for me, besides supplying the requisite power, are remote bass control knob, subsonic filter, and low-pass filter that goes down to 35hz (most go to 50 or 40). This amp seriously BANGS. Like, I couldn't imagine someone wanting MORE bass, and this is with the gain only halfway up. Run it for a few 2 hour drives on hot days, and no overheating issues, even though it is not mounted in a well ventilated area. Overall, this amp delivered amazing sound and power at a very reasonable price. The only downside I noticed was that it put a serious strain on my car's electrical. When the bass hit hard at night, the backlighting behind the instrument panel would flicker dim for a second every time. This problem was solved by installing a second battery (this is very easy to do on a Land Rover--they even build them with special compartments under the hood designed for an aux battery) and a 1.5 farad Tspec capacitor. Now, I can run the safari lights, the GPS, the dash cam, the USB charging ports and the power inverter with the music turned up to 11 and no problems. So the only note here is this is a great amp, but if your car's electrical is not up to it, you may need to modify for heavy current draw. Highly recommended.

Buen amplificador, tengo ya dos meses usandolo a media potencia ya que al parecer lo compre sobrado para mis subwoofer. Y todo bien.

Reviews say this amp is large. For a class a/b it is extremely compact. Its hard to fit anything in a small hatch without effecting internal storage space. I had the intention of installing this inside the rear quarter panel but it happened to fit PERFECTLY under the seat like my class a/b subwoofer. 10 speakers plus a subwoofer and this amplifier. It is truly a work of art. The qaulity is exceptional. Brings home stereo into the car yet feels like you are wearing headphones/you are there. Can finally hear every detail of the fingers sliding on guitar strings etc. Also for anyone thinking this is a cheap amp. It is truly is not. Hifonics uses boards that are used in ridiculously overpriced (3000+) namebrand amplifiers. Sometimes they even improve those ones and sell them for a couple hundred dollars. Look it up. This is the best audio company there is.
