EZ-FLO1010-HB 1 Gallon Constant Pressure Garden Hose Bib and Drip Connection Fertilizer Injector System

This works great. I use it to inject several different types of soluble fertilizer for my garden and blackberries and blueberries. Took some time to get the right restrictor rings matching the different rates of flow for the different systems. I am very pleased with this device. Plants look great!

This is an easy to install system that is complete out of the box and works very well. I was concerned about the price but decided to give one a try. Since then I have purchased three more. We have a number of gardens that are irrigated using a drip system connected to hose bibs. The EZ-FLO simply connected at that point. We have never had so many large and productive plants. Next year the plant spacing will have to be doubled to accommodate their mature size.

Straightforward to put together and hook up. Two relatively small issues. First, it is very difficult to figure out what the concentration of fertilizer will be from the instructions. Second, when you need to refill, and you take off the green lid, the rubber O-ring easily falls out and can get lost. The unit will leak a lot without that O-ring in there. So watch out for that.

Bought this last year and used it for about 2 months. Disconnected it for the winter and stored it in climate controlled garage in Las Vegas. Used it for about 3 months this year and it completely ruptured. My water pressure is nothing exceptional I can assure you. By the way, this is the second EZ-Flo that I have purchased that has done this to me. If left unnoticed, you could end up with your yard flooded plus a HEAFTY water bill. Ask me how I know. ZERO STARS. Garbage product. NEVER AGAIN!

It has a few short comings/ draw backs. I’ll touch on a few in my review. But, over all its just okay. Very simple design, I fully expected it to mix the fertilizer for me. At least that’s what the directions claimed. If it does? It’s most definitely not mixing it well enough. Your going to need to mix and make sure it’s mixed well or it will stop up the drip tape. A filter needs to be used with this unit. It doesn’t have a simple carry handle so it’s odd to carry back and forth and even more so when your trying to take the top off. It’s simple enough to use but could use a redesign.

I just set up the unit today so I cannot yet comment on effectiveness. I was eventually able to get it to the point where it appears to be working but I had a few problems that the guide did not help me with.#1 I put 20 drops of food coloring in the tank but the water coming out of the clear tube still appeared clear to my eye. However, I let it run to half way through the "gallons to empty" and looked in the tank and it did appear to be diluted. I also collected from one emitter into a ball jar and could see the color at the end of the experiment. I settled on looking at the bubbles being cleared from the tube and the feel of the cold water to check if it was dispensing. Will try to put much more coloring in next time.#2 I had a strange problem where I would hook the system up and it would dispense the first time but would not the second time I turned it on. The GPH on my system was 26... close to the 30 GPH switch over from the red to the black disk. When I disconnected the hose after the first time I ran it I saw that the red disk had become dislodged and it was acting more like a system with no disk when I turned it on the next time. I also noticed that my backflow preventer was "going off" and spraying water when I turned the system off. I moved up to the black disk and this problem went away and the backflow preventer no longer goes off.Will update this review with more observations as needed.

Very good quality, good item, works well, unfortunately didn’t work well for my project and had to return it, otherwise really liked it.

Like it for its quality build, simple operation and plainly the fact you can leave it alone at the tap and walk the hose, no lugging watering cans, no venturi fiddle. Simple and it saves your back as well

Installed it after my main valve so I cannot say how well it handles constant pressure. Small enough to fit in an underground valve box but large enough so I'm not refilling every week. Easier to adjust flow than I expected. I had read many horror stories, but managed to get mine set up in less than 30 minutes.
