Wake In Cloud - Jersey Cotton Comforter Set, Gray Grey Plain Solid Color, 100% Cotton Top Dyed Fabric with Soft Microfiber Inner Fill, Boxed Stitching Bedding (3pcs, King Size)

After decades, I decided to treat myself to new bedroom curtains and bedding and I sadly assumed that would be easy. It took 3 types of curtains until I found the right one BUT (oddly) the bedding was even harder. I must have purchased half a dozen varying shades and fabrics and was never pleased UNTIL I BOUGHT THIS! First of all, the color is perfect and better than in the picture. The others I found were too light or too dark, too shiny (for teens maybe?) or too flat. This one is a perfect medium gray with no blinding shine and the heathering makes it coordinate in nearly any room. It also mutes it so, if you do want shiny accent pillows, you're bedroom doesn't look like a disco or childish. Secondly, the size and dimensions are great. I have an extremely tall twin bed and do not want a skirt but the king size fits perfectly for me. It almost hits the floor but doesn't drag and I can't have drag cause I made a cool play area for my cats under my bed with tunnels and toys. This provides the coverage and look that I want and also the function for my critters to move easily. As far as comfort, it's like a cloud and my fur babies are in heaven! The other bedding I found were either super pretty BUT super stiff bedspreads OR comforters that are so bulky they take up a ton of bedroom space and are a nightmare to wash (and I like to wash my bedding a lot so that doesn't work for me realistically). This comforter material is amazingly soft but I am more impressed with the overall softness as it has plenty of loft without the bulk most other comforters have. I noticed another reviewer said it didn't hold up in the wash and I hope that isn't the case. (I washed mine twice and it is fine so far.) If it doesn't, I will probably be forced to rebuy the same comforter cause that is how much I love it!

I carefully selected this comforter based on reviews and I’m happy to report that I’m so glad I chose this comforter! I had to find a warm and soft alternative to a regular goose down comforter bc my boyfriend gets a horrible allergic reaction to goose feathers (he thinks I’m trying to suffocate him in his sleep). So I was on the hunt for a warm winter comforter that wouldn’t affect him!This comforter delivers in an air tight package so it appears much smaller and compact than it actually is but once you cut the package open with scissors, it expands and really takes shape.Note: it’s definitely not as fluffy as a down comforter but it does still have a fluff to it that’s nice.I’m so particular with fabrics and hate things that feel cheap or itchy. This fabric is cotton and SOFT!We just got hit with a blizzard this week so this delivery was perfect timing to update the bedding and add some more warmth without turning up the heat every night!*this delivers with 2 soft pillow cases to match!

I really love the softness of this comforter. It’s light enough so you don’t stay hot and just enough to keep you warm. The cons are as follows: it didn’t fluff up as much as I thought it would; it barely drapes over the side of my king bed and after following the directions on how to wash the comforter; it seems to have shrunk.

Very comfortable and warm. However it doesn't quite fit in a normal size washer due to its fluffiness. It fits but with no wiggle room to really get it washed. I've had it since late November 2019 and it is late January 2020 and there is already a tear in the fabric. I dont wash it but twice a month so it can't be from over washing. It's a weak outer fabric. I suppose that's the price of its softness.

I loved this comforter. It’s very soft and cozy. The only reason I did not score 5 stars on comfort was because although ; it says 100% cotton the fillings is polyester and that makes the comforter feel warmer .......

This comforter is great. It’s thick, soft and stitched very nicely. It washes and dries well. I have a feeling that it will last for a long time. The pillows cases, however, are garbage so plan on ordering your own shams if you don’t already have some. 5/5 for the comforter though.

True, hubby usually has something to gripe about when I buy him stuff. This is a definite exception. He was going on and on about how it's not 'slippery' like all the rest of the sheets/blankets he's had. It's super comfortable as well. I'll be ordering another set soon for the extra bedroom.
