I love making stairs and various platforms for my Rats to climb onto so that they can get up to higher level levels in their cage safely and efficiently! This helps to keep their Nails and Check as well and my Rats love these little lava ledges!

My chinchilla (Gus) LOVESSSSSSS this lava ledge!! This is the second ledge he’s had (he just completely chewed through his first over the weekend). He went wild the moment I put it into his cage!! Not only does Gus enjoy chewing the lava ledge, we often find him sleeping on it. ;)

My chinchillas love it, its the perfect size for one of stand on. Strong enough for them to jump off as well. Perfect toy for them to chew on and strengthen their teeth. Amazing for price, make sure to buy multiple as my chinchillas tend to go through them quickly!

I’ve been purchasing the Kaytee Lava Ledge for my rats for a while now, and it’s always been a great addition to their cage. They love climbing on it, and it provides a nice natural surface for them to chew on. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish it weren’t colored. I’d prefer a more natural look, but otherwise, it’s a durable and functional product that my rats enjoy. Would definitely recommend it to other pet owners!

I purchased the Kaytee Lava Ledge for my rats' cage, and it’s been fantastic! I placed it underneath their water bottle, so they climb onto it every time they drink. This setup naturally helps keep their nails short, which is a big plus.I received a yellow one, but I love that the color is a surprise—it keeps things fun. The ledge is sturdy, easy to attach to the wire cage, and serves its purpose perfectly. My rats seem to enjoy using it too!Highly recommend this product for small pet owners. Practical and effective!
