Works as advertised, good quality at a fair price.

I was trying to avoid a "square" crimper but most my options either had a lower wire gauge capacity, or were prohibitively more expensive. These have worked great for a few different projects, chief among them a 40A EVSE installation using 6 AWG copper. A few of my connections were "welding wire," having thinner strands and more flexibility than Romex. The wire just barely fit inside the ferrule, but I did have to remove the insulating caps due to them not fitting over the wire jacket. However, since these are terminating in a terminal block, there is still protection without the insulating caps. Having the ferrule get crushed under the terminal block screw rather than the screw bearing down directly on the fine gauge wire strands certainly ensures a good, solid connection. No complaints. These have proved to be foolproof every crimp, every crimp has been secure, and the leave the completed job with an extra dose of professionalism are care.

They work well enough and there are a lot of ferrules. The only negative is the ferrules seem a little cheap.

This is a high quality crimper that automaticly adjusts to the size ferrule you are using. It has several pressure settings to suit your crimp needs, fits in your hand well and makes a nice crimp. I have seen this type of crimper for a significantly higher price, so did not expect the high quality crimper that comes in this kit. The Ferrules in the kit are of the same quality as you get anywhere else and it is a good assortment.

The tool was heavier than expected, the terminals were decent and after about 100 crimps not a bad one anywhere. I think this may be the best deal from Amazon this year. I would buy this again. I am building out the control panels for my model railroad and these are perfect connectors. These connectors go all the way down to 26ga data wire in Ethernet cables and make the connections perfectly, even combinations of wires. I have not found a combination that I did not have the right size terminal. I would definitely recommend and I would buy again for my application

I like to play with solar, meaning I do a lot of wiring. Some of the inverters use wire tighten slots that are very narrow, and if you just put your exposed wire in there, there's often a strand or two that don't go in. This ferrule clamp and assortment of ferrules solves that problem nicely. For the price, it's a no brainer. Get it, use it, be happy.

I'm no exactly sure how to rate the quality of the tool as this is the first one I've ever used, seems good enough for my hobbyist needs. The selection of Ferrules was more than adequate for my project. In case your wondering I used it to replace the soldered ends on the cabling going to the mother board of my Ender 3 V2 as it should help with safety and reliability and since I was in there to do the silent fan mod and some of the wiring was going to be modified anyways. Overall it is simple to use and handy to have in your possession if you do casual electronic work.

I'm rewiring a CNC machine, and had started by simply stripping wires and pushing them into the connection terminals. Then I saw this product and am really glad I bought it. The crimper is really easy to use, and the whole project looks a lot better with the ferrules installed rather than the bare wires. This is really all about appearances, not functionality. My one issue is that the plastic handle on the crimper slipped off. There's a little hook-like section that broke off, and that allowed the grips to slip. I attached it with a cable tie, and that seems to be holding.
