Loved the book
My 11 yo daughter loves the series this book belongs to. She is very advanced 5th grade reader with a lexile of 8th grade level. So i would definitely recommend this book for older children or younger with very advanced lexile level who need something above their grade level to keep them interested.

Yet another winner from the Secrets line.
Yet another cute and fun romp in the Secrets series of book. Breaking the fourth wall all the time, the narrator in the book carries on this separate plot thread that makes me giggle. The storyline is fairly solid, especially for middle-school which I believe this book is aimed for. The main character is a survivalist, she and her two friends are part of a secret organization trying to take down another secret organization that extends the lives of it's members unnaturally. If you enjoyed the other books in the series, you'll love this one. If you've never read them before, I suggest you start with "The Name of This Book is Secret" so you can carry along with all the plot threads.

Not very good condition
I bought this book as a gift for my daughter. It obviously had some coffee or cola spilled on the cover and first 100 or so pages as they are stained and warped for being wet. I’m disappointed for sure as this is not in a condition to give as a gift.

Number Three and Beyond
This third book in this mystery series is even better than the first two. However, it really does help to read the first two in order to understand some of the characters.. Although the series is for third, fourth graders, I,as their Grandmother, read them so we can discuss them together. As an adult, the plot does have some large holes and the "suspension of disbelief" is strained to the thinnest at times, but the story is good and the characters are real people. I'm reading the next one right now. But I won't let you know how it turns out.

Almost as good as chocolate
I really enjoyed the third book in this series. I love how the author breaks the fourth wall to bring us some relief and to explain all the different things that are happening. I also enjoy his zany sense of humour all in all I think this series is an amazing work that I know I will enjoy no matter how old I get

Good book
I am 10 years old, and using my mom’s account to write this review(with permission). I love this book, and would recommend it for ages 9 and up. Out of the three books I have read so far, I like this one the best, partly because it’s about chocolate.

Great read
My son ( a 9 year old) and I have been reading this series together. He loves it! It is a mystery novel with lots of comedy. The author often pulls the reader in an aside and provides lots of comedy. The story is about three friends that must find clues to solve a mystery. Very engaging and exciting. Highly recommend.

this is his new favorite book series
My 12 year old son loves this book series. He cannot put the books down. He is a huge Harry Potter fan and I would guess that behind Harry Potter, this is his new favorite book series. Happy reading!

Amazing
This book is amazing. Actually all of pseudonymous bosch books are equally intruiging. Whenever my father asks me what book I want next, I say pseudonymous bosch. The storyline is so unexpectable and his jokes make me laugh a lot.

For the chocolate lover
Here is the third book of the secret series; This Book is Not Good For You. I love the series, and this is also, like the first and second, very exciting and hilarious. Recommend it to everyone who has read the first and second book of the series. This is for the chocolate lovers, which apparently Pseudonymous Bosch is, and some magic. In fact, all the books in the series so far have to do with magic. The Ghost Writer
