Keyless2Go Replacement for New Keyless Entry Remote Car Key for Vehicles That Use HYQ12BDM, HYQ12BEL with H Chip

This remote looks & functions like the Toyota original remote. Purchased this remote after one of the 2 original remotes was lost. I was able to program the remote and chipped key to work on my daughters 2016 Camry SE with my Autel MK808 TS scan tool. After programing I had Ace Hardware cut the key for under $5.Local locksmiths wanted a couple of hundreds of dollars to do this. Based on past experience Toyota dealers would have wanted over $400 for a replacement key.

You will need a locksmith to cut it and then program it. Programming has two parts - the transponder and the remote. The transponder allows the ignition to stay on after the key starts it. The second part is the remote that unlocks and locks the doors. Just make sure you get that clarified from the locksmith. If you don't get the transponder programmed right - the car will stall / shut off despite being able to start.

Was able to program the key using techstream with no issues. Camry 2016.

I have purchased four of your keys and the locksmith said that all of them created error codes when he tried to program them. None of them worked.. Not happy

I received the item and it came with a battery already installed. The key needed to be cut first for the 2017 Corolla I was programming the key for. There are 2 things that have to be programmed. The immobilizer for the ignition and the remote portion to control the car. All the buttons worked.

There is a difference in key fobs even though you might not think so. This is one of the better built ones, and it's worth a couple extra dollars, for something that will work long term.
