Samsung Electronics ATIV Smart PC Keyboard Dock (AA-RD7NMKD/US), Blue

Item as described & shipped promptly in good packaging. This keyboard fits perfectly with the Samsung ATIV tablet. I am extremely pleased with the great quality and design. It has 2 usb ports. I also like the way the keys feel. Overall a great buy for an amazing price. I highly recommend this product.

This works great to match my tablet and make it even more useful. Tablets are generally great for content consumption (reading, surfing) but not so great for content creation - even, in my experience, doing much more than one-word replies to email. With this keyboard, my tablet stands up on an airplane tray table and beside the monitor for my laptop at work and I can leave it behind and carry just the tablet home for true portability.

I haven't had any connection issues at all with this keyboard. It adds versatility to the tablet, allowing you to use it truly as a small laptop, and give you the ability to charge the tablet from the keyboard base. It DOES NOT have a battery of it's own, but it does have an AC port, so you can leave your docking station plugged into power on your desk and then remove your tablet to take it with you. The touchpad is responsive and works well, but is slower to register gestures than using the same gestures on the screen of the tablet. I just turned off most of the gestures on the touchpad, and kept is for the usual mouse capabilities. The touchpad also has mouse "buttons" in the lower left and right corners that physically depress for your left and right mouse clicks. I have also had no trouble at all with the keyboard staying connected to my tablet, even if I pick it up off of my desk by the "screen." I have heard that others have had some issues, but to date, I have not had any problems. It IS important to listen to hear a "click" to indicate that the clamps on the keyboard dock are fully engaged. Since that click and the chime of the dick connecting can be nearly simultaneous, (the chime happens when the magnetic connection is made to the keyboard and the click is when the clamps engage) it can be hard to hear. That makes me wonder if some of the people having problems are missing the "click" of the clamps and stop pushing down when they hear the chime and the clamps do not fully engage for them. The 2 USB ports work fine, will charge my iPhone (and so I assume any other phone) just fine also. I have used thumb drives, external Hard Drives, Logitech external DVD player/burner, and a USB hub to test the USB ports, and everything has worked exactly as it should. All in all, I'm very happy with the keyboard, and would recommend it to anyone who wants to use their ATIV like a netbook/small laptop.

This keyboard is a fantastic addition to my ATIV Smart PC tablet. It adds and extra 2 USB ports and a well placed AC adapter port. I love that there is a light for the CAPS LOCK KEY. It helps keep me from accidentally typing in all caps. Keep in mind that it is a pain connect the two parts.

The keyboard is a nice size and spacing for the ATIV tablet. Feel of the keys and response of the touchpad is nice. It is easy to physically connect and disconnect from the tablet. Occasionally the keyboard has stopped working for me, and needs to be disconnected and reconnected to the tablet. It happens fairly rarely, so it isn't much of an issue, but still an annoyance considering the price. Note that this may not be an issue with the keyboard itself but the ATIV tablet, drivers, etc.

Received my Keyboard Dock yesterday, and I must say that I was a little worried because of other reviews with regards to the stability of the docking aspect.Others have reported losing connectivity and the beeping to indicate that it is (undocked)new word lol. My take on it, and I have not had any problems thus far is that you really have to push hard and I mean hard, don't be afraid to break anything. My opinion is that it was Samsung's engineering design to make sure that it stays docked and you can move it about like a net/ultra book without it falling apart. I have on a Skinomi screen protector and after undocking there is the indentation showing all the points of contacts,which proves what a firm/tight fit there is. Again only from pushing down hard to ensure it is fully connected. Users may just be afraid to push thinking that they will break it,hence poor connectivity,beeping. You may not always hear the click after the beep but once you push down hard enough it will be secure with no issues. One other thing I almost forgot and I don't know if it is a bios setting or flaw, but sometimes if I boot while being docked the tab goes straight into the system bios. If I undock it boots up normally and then I dock with no further issues. I will check on it when I get time and will update under the Keyboard review just in case there are users experiencing this. Feel of product: Nice keyboard feel, just like a regular laptop, good spacing even for big fingers. After docking you can easily forget it's and Tablet/Ultra Book because of the snug and compact feel. I recommend.

It will NOT stay connected through blue tooth. I love the way the keys respond when it works. About every 3 minutes it will disconnect and the tablet doesn't recognize the keyboard. I read reviews that this was an issue and purchased it anyway.

This keyboard was very easy to install on my Samsung Tablet and worked right out of the box. The charging adapter is now on the side of the keyboard making it easier to charge. Does not add much weight makes my tablet a laptop. Perfect.

I received my keyboard this morning (April 30 2013) which was delivered to my front door via Purolator in Niagara on the Lake Ontario. There were a few unforeseen delivery issues (which I guess can be expected when ordering items from the United States into Canada) which delayed the products arrival. I have to give high credit to all the Staff at Track Tech for dealing with these delivery issues in a very professional manner, ensuring in the end that I was satisfied. WELL DONE STAFF (5 stars to you all) The keyboard snapped together flawlessly with my tablet, giving me much more versatility. The keyboard is very well designed and there was only one update that the computer found and automatically installed. I have not had any keyboard connectivity issues, which I read in reviews some have experienced. I would definitely order from this seller again for their excellent customer service.

I've had the tablet for only a few weeks, and I love Windows 8 as a touch-friendly operating system, but I'm not at all a fan of their touchscreen keyboard. I ordered one that was like new/open box condition for a cheaper price. When they were about to ship the product, the seller was kind enough to email me to let me know the used keyboard was actually white, and not the brushed blue as shown in the picture. He even offered faster shipping for free for the inconvenience or a refund. I decided to purchase the white as I was anxious to receive it. Arrived today and didn't disppoint -- It was so easy to connect it to the tablet, and the keyboard is beautiful to use. Not as crammed as you see on other laptops/netbooks. I love that it comes with two extra USB ports. Very happy and would highly recommend!

It works well so far. The connection isn't perfect but a lot better than my previous one. However, the shipping gave me a one week window for arrival and missed even that by a day

Fits perfect to tablet, usb port on either side. Power port in a sensible location. No where to store plugs for the connecting ports. acts as a laptop after keyboard installed
