Leonardo. The Complete Drawings (Bibliotheca Universalis)

I loved looking through it. My friend is an artist. I thought she would get a kick out of it after I looked through. It is amazing of the skill he had compared to people who try to use Ai. I rather try to meet his skill through me learning how to do things myself. If I draw I want it to come to me and be as great as Leonardo da Vinci's.

My nose has been in this book ALL DAY! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BOOK!

The book size is slightly bigger than the size of a paper back but it is thick. Almost a drawing on every page. The contents of Da Vinci sketches is amazing. I use a magnifying glass to study them. It is wonderful to see how the master sketches with such precision. It takes time to appreciate the sketches. Specially his studies on horses. It is a beautiful book. Must have for one want to spend time to study his masterly skill. It is invaluable in my book shelf and for drawing reference.

Really cool book

I was expecting a full sized book. This was pocket sized.

It looked like the box had been opened and the top corners of the hard cover book were crushed/dented/damaged. It is possible the box was not properly sealed and the book fell out, but either way I’m just going to keep it as is to avoid the hassle of returning/replacing. The book is a great book and has tons of his illustrations, so overall, I am happy with my purchase.

Da Vinci's masterful sketches between the covers of one book. Was expecting a larger book but, actually, the smaller size is better: for travel, perusing in bed, etc. A great companion book as I read Walter Isaacson's biography of Leonardo. The editors and publisher Taschen have produced a beautiful book.

Muy buen libro y muy completo eso si es algo pequeño lo cual yo no sabia al comprarlo por lo cual yo les digo eso si tiene muchas hojas y en ese aspecto es grandisimo si te encanta este increible genio de la humanidad este libro es para ti.

I don’t know why people complain about its size. It’s the perfect size. Gives it a more intimate feel of an artists sketchbook. Which is essentially what this is. Beautiful book. So glad I have it in my collection.
