6 inch 390 CFM Duct Fan by Formline Supply. Variable Speed Controller.

The fan works well but the cfm for this 6-inch fan is a little too high for my 48x48x80 tent. Even with two 6-inch and two 4-inch vents open, and the fan on lowest speed setting, it sucks in the sides of the tent signicantly. I probably could have bought a 4-inch fan since I use LED lights which don't give off a lot of heat. I use a maximum of four 600 watt lamps, depending on how many seed trays I'm growing.

This fan works great, I bought two for a grow tent set up. One fan is used with a charcoal filter, and another for the air intake. They work as described, are strong, and quiet. I read mixed reviews of the fan being noisy, the fan is pretty quiet in my opinion. But there is a very slight humming noise heard in other rooms while runnning. The fan does not feel or look cheap and is made with quality pieces. I would highly recommend.

Does what it's supposed to (moves air), fairly easy to install and hook to ducts. Variable speed is a nice feature. Still running after several months in a hot attic.However this is NOT especially quiet!. It's pulls air from a water heater closet through about 4 feet of duct, and when It's on I can hear it through the closet door. Fortunately the closet in a laundry room where noise is not a big issue, but I wouldn't use this connected to a living space.

Seriously am amazing fan! It's also surprisingly quiet, and the adjustable speed function is really nice. I was able to take off the plastic cowling on each end in order to get it into place then put them back together. A great fan for anyone.

Item arrive on time.Installation was fairly easy. The speed switch works great. I installed this fan as a bathroom exhaust fan. I installed in attic with a 6" flex connection. After everything was all set and done I was able to get around 320 cfm out of end discharge. Lowered Speed to about 200 cfm. It is very quiet.

It's very quiet, ruggedly built and powerful. I use it for hours on end with no additional noises as some fans do after being in use after a few hours or minutes. It's rock solid in performance and quietness. Thank you!

I am very satisfied with the fan. It's very quiet so that is a plus. The adjustable speed is a great addition. No need to buy a separate control. The quality is very good, no cheap plastic here. I was very impressed with the force the fan can produce and am hoping for years of use.

Works well for me so far. Low noise compared to other fans its size.
