83M00 - Lennox OEM Replacement Furnace Control Board

Update about a year later. This board works perfect. Turns out we needed a new compressor. This board is still working perfect.Update 1 month later. Worked great for a month then Ac quit working and only blower runs. Tried to contact seller and got no response. See above, wasn't this products fault. Sorry, upped my rating. I changed out a board from a lennox g26 with board 63k8901. Had to do a little looking to get all connections switched over properly.COOL --- COOL...HEAT----HEATPARK---PARK (LEFT)....ACB LOW----FANACC----EAC....TX----XFMRHOT----LINE.....FLAME SENSE-----FSALL NEUTRALS ARE THE SAME AND CAN PLUG IN TO ANY TERMINALOFF THE 12 PIN CONNECTOR THERE ARE A GREEN AND A YELLOW. THEY CONNECT TO THE 2 WIRES COMING FROM THE TRANSFORMER. I HAD TO SPLET THEM AND CONNECT THEM SEPERATLY.THE INSTRUCTIONS TELL YOU HOW TO WIRE THE BLUE WIRE FROM THE 12PIN CONN TO THE FUSE.

Do not buy. Do your research. Look for this: Emerson 21D83M-843 Integrated Furnace Control Kit This is the same board that was sent to me, but I paid the extra $100 thinking this board was actually from Lennox like what the picture show. It is not. The box it came in is from Emerson. The board I recived does not say Lennox anywhere on it. So save your money and buy this instead:  Emerson 21D83M-843 Integrated Furnace Control Kit I really wanted to return the product, but I cannot wait the couple of weeks it would take to process the return and order the same price as it is currently the middle of winter.

This ignition control board works perfectly in my gas furnace. One of the relays on the original circuit board for my furnace burnt out causing the blower motor to run indefinitely. Apparently, this was a common issue and was probably the reason I had to replace the blower motor. This unit must have replaced several part numbers because it was slightly different than the one I pulled out of the furnace, but it came with all of the required connections for drop-in replacement. The only thing I had to modify was to make a slightly longer ground cable between the board and the safety switch because I didn't like how tight it was being stretched. I installed this unit about a year ago using a video I found on Youtube and haven't had any issues since.

The replacement board was much larger than original. The expansion plate for a larger board and instructions were easily installed. The HVAC system is working perfectly. I highly recommend this board
