Organic Sun Dried Figs 2lb by Hatton Hill Organic

These are just what I expect in a Turkish fig. I liked them so much I already re-ordered.

The bag of figs from Turkey arrived today and I immediately opened the bag to eat one. It was very dry and there were black spots on it. After I looked closely thru the clear plastic I saw that most of the figs were black and the lighter ones were covered in a powder. I’ve been ordering figs for sometime now but this was my first with this vendor. No return available. I will never order HATTON HILL anything. Other dried figs I’ve ordered have been edible and tasty...these were not.

I ordered these dried figs in April. When they arrived, I checked the label that said that the product was packed in the UK and was best before 02/08/2020. I contacted Hatton to find out whether this meant August 2 (US style) or February 8 (UK style), but received no response. The bottom line was that the figs looked stale, and certainly did not taste great. I threw them away.
