Electronic Handheld Boggle

I'm on my second Boggle game. I've been playing this same game for at least 15 years and I love it. The only trouble is when my first one wore out it was no longer available in stores. I found it on line and it was priced as a collector's item with a price to match. I wish they'd come out with a new game with different words. Even after 12 years the second Boggle game was exactly the same as the original.

I'v had a used Boggle game before and it lasted for a couple of years before dying and it played fast. THis one has trouble coming on and it is very slow when trying to pick out the letters I want to use. I hate to spend $50 for a new one but I might have to. But, for $7 I guess I got what I payed for.

I can't turn the sound off. The instructions are written in such a way that you have continually go back and reread parts you've already read to figure out what they're talking about. The buttons aren't marked, so you constantly have to refer back to the instructions to find out which buttons are for what, and even those descriptions are vague. The up/down/left/right buttons are obvious, but ALL the buttons have dual purposes, and not one of them is marked for anything. You're supposed to be able to turn the sound off by holding the left/right buttons down at the same time for 3 seconds - I have yet to accomplish the sound being turned off. I bought four games altogether and can only use one. Boggle is not usable, and was the most expensive one. I'm seriously thinking about sending it back.

This is my first hand-held, carry-around game ever. I love Boggle Bash online, so I got this game when I could no longer get Boggle Bash online due to an old Mac computer/Java problem. I now have a new Mac computer and can get Boggle Bash online. However, I still enjoy this hand-held Boggle game a lot because not only is it portable, but you can TURN THE TIMER OFF and take your time figuring out as many words as you can. That, in my opinion, is a lot more fun than having your time limited to a couple of minutes.

I bought this for my mom for Christmas. She’s had several, but they’ve worn out. She loves this game. I ordered from a different seller first but the game didn’t work, so I returned it & ordered this one which works good.Thank you!

It is very difficult to get into new games. Have to constantly use the reset in the back which requires having a pen or paper clip to use. Also don't like the way words you could have made are displayed. Do like that you can select untimed game.

My husband and I used to play this years ago and loved it! We looked forward to challenging each other. Upon a move we lost it and I was so excited to see I could purchase another one. WE LOVE IT!!

This was a replacement unit for my old one that wore out and stopped working one day.

Love this game--I've worn out 2 previous games so was glad to find another one. I like the challenge of trying to come up with words I didn't previously find & trying to beat my record number of words.

Fun!

Good game to play, make easy or hard words, just have fun with it. It's just like playing the real thing but you play it alone.

Bought for Mom in Care Center. She was addicted!! My son and she had hi score compitions!

Perfect...no problem. Works like the one I had before and was what I expected. It being used was not a problem.
