Works and keeps on working
I installed this and a brushcutter kit on my echo weed eater. The kit had a different guard and handle etc. I also purchased a saw blade style brush cutter but have yet to try it because this thing works so well. I have chopped down miles of woods with this thing. I use it to clear shooting lanes in Alabama and Georgia for hunting. It works well. I have cut down some stuff it probably isn’t designed to cut, some stuff an inch and a half wide. It really does well with wood the width of a thumb. I came back to review this after a year and the blade is still some how intact and cuts like a charm. This really does work well for my needs.

Great blades for thick weeds and grasses to smaller saplings
Used these blades for trail clearing in a burn scar area with a Stihl FS131 between at elevations between 7000 and 9000ft in Arizona. Great for cutting back small locust, ferns, thick grasses and event smaller softwood trees. What's great about this blade is it truly gives you the most cutting range between the string head and saw a 40-80tooth wood cutting blade. Worked well cutting out thick ferns and at the same time up to 1/2 diamater locust and aspen. This wide range of cutting capability means you don't have to toggle between cutting attachments and their respective safety guards. These blades work with the string trimmer guard. They can also be flipped so you get double the cutting out of each blade. Since they are a non saw type blade they are also easy to sharpen. Per blade cost is about 1/3 of the OEM blades. I still carry the string head and a 80 tooth wood cut blade in my pack for specific use cases, but this blade is the default option for most jobs with moderately thick, younger brush.

Extremely sharp and effective.
Ease of installing into my existing brush cutter. Effectively cuts brush as well as tall dense grass...and other weaker metals (!) that might be hidden. That being said, Plan ahead, be smart, WEAR PROTECTIVE GEAR.

Great blades
My Stihl FS56 came with one of those circular blades, I guess for cutting grass? Anyway, it doesn't work on the woody bushes on my property in North Florida. I bought these last October and just installed them today (yes, procrastination IS my middle name). Extremely easy to install and they have a little adapter ring for another brand which I did not need for my Stihl. These cut through the bushes and grass and everything else like a hot knife through butter. They were not razor sharp right out of the box but apparently they don't need to be. I was cutting 1" mini-trees of yaupon holly and all the other junk that grows here like nobody's business. I was having so much fun I kept going and didn't stop until my stomach said it was time for lunch. These are a great buy.

Three tooth metal trimmer blad3s
The blade is not very balanced. Causes weed whacker to vibrate, making my hands go numb. Not too bad at a slow speed.

will need some modification
I bought these for clearing an overgrown yard I was pleasantly surprised with how amazing they work! They do not come with any mounting hardware, and I had to cut up an old weedwhacker head to install. With that being said that is the only reason for the 2-star easy to install. If there was a shortened screw and washer that came with these to install it would be amazing. They are incredibly powerful and durable, I hit the concrete foundation a few times while clearing the lot and sparks flew and these just kept right on cutting. I wish I would have discovered these years ago. Highly recommend.

Chops grass in an instant.
Using it to clear fence lines at the ranch. Cut through tall grass at almost walking speed. Much better than string when you have alot to clear, and doesn't get wadded up with grass.
