GatorEconomy Wood Case - Semi-Hollowbody Guitar Case

Nothing special but it is a hard case, and fits my electric very well and protects. I recommend to anyone that just needs a not so expensive luxury case. Nice padding on the inside, well worth it

I ordered this for my daughter's new electric guitar. It is a well-constructed guitar case with a hard-shell. The first one I received was damaged, but Amazon replaced it, and although the outside of the first one was severely damaged, the interior of the case was unaffected, so it would have protected the contents well. It is a little snug for her guitar (Epiphone Les Paul Traditional Pro-IV), but it fits. The hinges and closing clips are well-made and operate easily. It has 4 clips to close it -- 3 on the handle side and 1 on the hinge side. The middle one on the handle side has a lock. The padding is soft, with a plush faux-fur lining. It has 2 accessory compartments -- one above the head and one under the neck of the guitar. Overall, we are very happy with this case -- just make sure you are careful with the measurements.

Unlike some of the other reviews here, mine came well protected with packing paper and wrapped in plastic - I noted before purchase several here did not have that experience in the past so I guess the manufacturer listened.Solid case, not too heavy - wouldn't trust it with the luggage crews for a flight, but that isn't what this is for. Well padded, plush interior, looks great, fit my Donner DST-152 which I bought it for perfectly and has a plenty spacious accessories compartment.Great bang for the buck, can't believe how much cheaper it is to get a good wood hard shell case compared to 20 years ago when this would have been (not even adjusting for inflation) $300 easily.Something you may overlook but will appreciate is the rounded corners that others don't offer in this price range. What else to say? It's a good, nice looking wood hard shell case on a budget, it does what it says and what you intend it to do. Oh, and the hardware has a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser, so they stand behind the product.

Does not fit a Squire CV 60s Jazzmaster snugly. For the money, the case is alright - not great. A (Squier CV 60s) Jazzmaster will fit into the case, but top to bottom there's about 1/2 inch of space or so, and side to side it's at least an inch (probably more because the interior material is pretty fluffy and you can easily compress it without much force at all). So that means the guitar is going to slide around, unless you resort to stuffing in some foam or cushioning - that won't interact with the finish - to get a snug fit. I really wish Squier would just make their own branded, form-fitting cases like Epiphone does.

I have two of these extreme cases in my house, as I have dogs and a young kid. These are good for the appropriate guitars, but I would try to ensure they fit yours ahead of time, as they are quite large in size, though relatively thin. They seem thinner than my ESP cases that I have, but not as durable. I would consider putting an ESP case on a plane, but I wouldn’t consider this just because of the open space dynamic and slightly thinner construction and padding. Built well. Great looking. Nice big storage area. Fits my Strat copy perfectly!

I've purchased Gator photo products a number of times,.....Photo gear backpack, photo shoulder bag and a few other cases and in every case they were keepers and were exactly what I had hoped to receive.I needed a hard case for my Generic Telecaster .......and this case was perfect for fit and has very adequate protection inside. The fit was perfect for my Tele .....it just laid in place perfectly as if this case was (custom) made for it.The handle on this case is off-set for perfect balance. It's to one side by ⅓ or so away from the center of the case.Given a solid body Telecaster is heavier all towards the main body, I was delighted to find that my guitar in this case allowed for a perfect balance when using the handle. The case was dead level in hand when carrying it.The exterior of this case is solid and protective. My take is for those who might treat the case w/ guitar in it roughly when loading/unloading and/or during travel, the case is going to hold up fine and more importantly, protect what is in it!5 Stars all around! Another Gator product for me that is a keeper!Very pleased with this case all around!

The case is okay. As far as finish goes, there are a couple of holes where a hinge was drilled in the wrong place. Not the end of the world and definitely not worth the trouble of mailing back. It fits my Stratocaster snuggly. The strap holders need a little finessing to place the guitar in it's home, but the fur and the foam will allow for it to wear a nice place to fit well. For sub $100, it's a great deal. It's not top quality, but it will serve it's purpose, without going overboard. I'm happy with this buy.

Bought this for my son who is learning to play guitar. Useful since he will be hauling the guitar around to and from lessons.The case is solid. The locks are great and very secure. Inside - the lining is very plush and there is a small space to tuck small things away for ease when carrying.One thing I noticed - the space inside the case is slightly more than needed. So we laid a small rolled up towel at the bottom and that adequately addressed the issue.Case exterior is hard and tough. Exactly what I was looking for. I would buy this again.

Es bonito, bueno y tal vez no tan barato pero para ser una funda estoy muy contento con ella.

El case esta completo, pero al cerrarlo queda muy tenso en la parte de en medio, y la el seguro derecho esta mucho mas que el central, dejando el izquierdo muy suelto, no lo voy a regresar porque a final de cuentas cierra y esto puede ser un problema de diseño y no de fabricacion, pero eviten comprar esta version del case, en EU compre la version que es un poco mas grande y esa no tiene problemas, y es casi 1000 pesos mas economica que esta

El estuche que compré debería ser nuevo, pero está evidentemente usado y con daños de uso, porque el paquete venía bien. Lástima de estuche tan bonito. Se ha iniciado la devolución.

Piacevole da vedere nonostante le dimensioni generose5 stelle al prodotto (posseggo già altri case Gator e sono una garanzia!)1 stella al vettore (esterno ad Amazon) per il pessimo trasporto, penso che l’ultimo miglio abbiano preso a calci il pacco.10 stelle ad Amazon che mi è venuto incontro visto il disagio nonostante non fosse stato causato da loro!
