Good quality, fresh flavor! I don't get along w. oats... bummer.Barley flakes, quinoa flakes, kamut flakes to the rescue!! I can indulge in Yummy homemade granola and granola bars once again! Highly recommend!

This barley tastes GREAT especially as a morning cereal with Yupik's Lucuma superfood powder mixed in for a subtly fruity maple flavor! Easy to just pop in the microwave with some water for 5-6 mins for a quick breakfast.

Much better than expected. One half cup barley, a pinch of salt, 1 1/2 cups water. Bring to boil. Simmer for 10 minutes. Wonderful chewy texture compared to oatmeal and a slight nutty taste. I already ordered more.

This is the first time I am buying barley flakes and I 💘 Love these. I made overnight oats with them and I really enjoy the texture. They hold together a little bit more than oats and have a slightly firmer texture. Which I prefer. They taste very similar to oats to me. I wanted to have another item to use instead of oats all the time. As when I do HCLFvegan, eating too many oats causes my joint pain to worsen, so I wanted to mix it up.Overall I have been ordering Yupik off and on for several years and the quality of their products is always very good.

I bought this to cook for my dog. She has Addison's disease a rare condition for dogs. I wanted to make sure she has the best nutrition and Yupik barley fit the bill for one of the ingredients. I've used other Yupik products and they were quality. I've tried this barley in a few dishes for myself and really enjoyed the flavor and texture. This barley is easy and fast to prepare. It seems to go pretty far as well
