Rainjacket quality for the money value is good!I was hiking with it for 4hours in Irish Weather conditions (= every 10min a heavy rain storm).It kept me dry, not warm but dry. Its a good jacket for everyday, and M is the perfect size, if you have similar measurements as me and want to wear layers underneath. I can fit my whole "oversized" coat underneath it.Quality: Its not the best quality (= I mean check out the price). Rain drops do not pearl off as good compared to high quality material. Very good coat. Fitted perfectly and looks like it would keep you dry in any level of rain.Only reason for return us that it was way too good for the off chance we may need it on a winter holiday. If I was a regular wet weather walker I would definitely recommend this coat

I bought this coat for dog walking, and on the whole it has been pretty decent, surviving the most brutal of Scottish weather assaults. It is 100% Waterproof, 0% breathable - what I imagine walking around in a high quality black bin bag (the ones you used to be able to get from the council) would be like. You stay dry from the precipitation falling from the sky, however end up wringing wet with your own sweat. If you've got a wedding coming up and need to loose a few inches fast, I highly recommend a swift walk around your local park in this jacket.I actually don't think this should be held against the jacket though as you know that it is not breathable when purchasing, so really only have yourself to blame. The reason for my 3 star review is that within a couple of months a slight slip in the woods on Christmas Day saw me need to summon my inner Jane Torvil to stay vertical. Sadly in the process of not falling over the zip has ripped away.I initially gave this coat a 2 star review, big have upgraded on reflecting that it is not the manufacturers fault that the path I was walking on was wet and slippery and I have the balance of a newborn deer after a couple of pints.If you're looking for a long waterproof jacket, which will keep you dry from the weather and only have a limited budget, then you can't go too far wrong with this. Just be careful when walking in slippery locations or performing deep lunges.
