Witch one would work as shoe lace like from the thickness??

It would probably work as shoe laces but tieing the knot will be difficult. I found it difficult to knot it is a bit thick.

What size should I get for shoe lace 1/4 or 1/8??

Most likely 1/8. Definitely not the 1/4

will the thinner cord bounce a lot? I want to hang feathers from one end and hang the other end from the door frame for my cat to play.

I would think so but I have no cats. I bought it to relace a lawn chair
