Its great! And delicious
Love putting this stuff in my baked goods especially pretzels or pizza dough. Mixes in easily, adds a nice flavour and a better rise! 10/10

Breadtopia Organic Diastatic Malt Powder 8 oz.
Excellent product. It has no discernible flavor. I used 1/2 teaspoon malt powder for every 3 cups flour. It made my cinnamon rolls rise so nicely and the second rise was big too! AND it cuts the rising time. My yeast bread goods look like they came from a bakery. I've bought diastatic malt directly from Breadtopia in the past, but this time I snagged it on Amazon which was very convenient for me. I highly recommend this product and this company overall. They've great products for bread makers.

Great bagels and rolls
Easy to use makes bagels little more chewy and delicious. Rolls come looking and tasting like professionals. If you want great bread products use this product.

Impressed
Having been a follower of Breadtopia since almost it's inception, buying from them as well, was excited to see this Product and bought it "finally". I wasn't sure how and if it would make a difference for me as I am not the greatest at Breadmaking. Yes I do make edible loaves, and am told it's delicious, but never will taste like anything store bought. Yesterday I tried a Basic Bread Recipe that was in an old Magazine I had saved, for 2 loaves. I did add the Diastatic Malted Powder. I added 3/8 ths teaspoon for the 6 cups of Flour called for in the recipe, as well as 1/4 cup of Sourdough Starter mixed into the H20 and removing 1/4 cup of the H20. The dough went together well. Rising in my Proofer beautifully per the instructions. Baked up Higher than any other breads I have ever made. WOW yes the flavor was different more like Store bought Bread. One loaf is already gone. Each half of dough weighed out at 1.70 on the scale. More than a 1 1/2 lb. loaf of bread. I am over the top thrilled with Breadtopia's Diastatic Malted Powder. Best for increasing sourdough flavor
This malt is fresh and potent. Good for a year according to the date. You can add malt up to 1% of total flour weight to increase flavor. That would be 5 grams if you have a total of 500 grams of flour for the loaf. After all, sourdough is all about flavor! Malt really works. Breadtopia is a great and reliable company, with all the important hardware, flour and good tips and recipes for serious bakers. Check out their site for tons of inspiration.
