Age Perfect Eye Renewal Eye Cream

Last year my best friend bought me a gift basket she had made for my birthday full of various gifts she knew I would like. And this L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Renewal Eye Cream was one of the gifts. I have used it ever since. I use it for a lot more than what it was intended, though, so it is on my Subscription Order List. I use it as a base for my foundation and eye make-up. Prior to applying make-up, I use this eye cream on my whole eye area, as well as my entire face and also my neck. You only need a tiny amount, less than the size of a pea for your whole face. Too much and your foundation will not go on right and will look awful. But if you use just a tiny amount of this cream, the results are amazing. I let it sit a few minutes, then apply my make-up. I have found this cream smooth's fine lines and imperfections amazingly well. Reduce the appearance of those dreaded puffy under eye "bags." As I use this as a base, I find this cream helps tremendously to keep my make-up looking freshly applied until I am ready to remove it at bedtime. I have used prescription Retin-A for many years, and I find this cream enhances it's effects. Makes my make-up look flawless.

I notice that there are many complaints about the packaging of this product but it is easy to solve. I absolutely love this eye cream and have used it in the mornings for many years with great results. From the first time I bought it, my husband has saved the last from going to waste by rotating the square top until the corner of it is over the flat side of the glass and then just pushing it up with a screwdriver until it pops off easily. I then use a "Spatty" (a small beauty spatula you can order on Amazon) to get the remaining cream. It's worth it because there is still enough for at least a week in there. It would be nice if L'Oreal would change the packaging but I hope they never change this wonderful, effectiveand gentle eye cream.

The L'Oréal Age Perfect Eye Renewal is really lovely. It arrived on time and packaged properly. It was in a celophane wrapped box so it was certainly new. It is lightweight, yet delivers the hydration around the delicate eye area without "bleeding" into the eye area. I have only been using this product for 3 days and am quite pleased with how soft and hydrated the delicate skin feels. I would have given it 5 stars, but it tends to burn slightly with application. That sensation abates after a few minutes,however, and works as described. The scent is extremely delicate and lovely, but I wish it were scent free for the eye area. I would definitely recommend and I will be purchasing again in 3 months for sure. I'm anxious to see the results at the end of this month!

Loved the product. But I just received it on November 5th and and the pump was already clogged by November 22nd. Updated review 11/26/22

I have used this product for years, and it's the only anti-wrinkle cream I like. The bottle is a little annoying because once it gets low, you have to take the cap off to get the rest of the cream out. I don't mind doing this, the funny bottle is worth it because the product itself works so good!

The cream has made some improvements to bags under my eyes. I doubt I'll buy again, however, unless they change the dispenser. The pump is inconsistent. There is easily a weeks worth of cream still in the bottom that I can't get the pump to extract. Really, really poor design and too expensive to have this much product inaccessible.

I am never sure if any of the products I buy actually make a difference in my aging. I feel like I would have to do just half of my face for a year or so and compare sides to be sure. However, I will say that when I use this cream at night and in the morning before I apply my make up, there is a noticeable difference in the puffiness of my the area just below my eyes. So for me, I think it has made a difference. Whether that difference would last the next day or the day after that, I will not venture to guess...but it works on the days that I use it and that is really all I am asking for. I recommend it because it works for me, doesn't smell funky and goes on without irritation.

Been using just under a week and has reduced my bags and black rings under my eyes so much. Fine lines have become undetectable. You get what you pay for.

As an all year long allergy sufferer and a night shift worker I was happy to find a cream that actually worked. My dark circles are half as dark as they used to be. The only con (haven’t quite finished my first bottle) is if your eyes water the cream made my eyes burn a little. I will definitely be re-purchasing.

If I wasnt camera shy I'd post a picture. This is the only cream that really reduces my dark circles. I have hereditary dark circles and I hate them - this works and I know that because I find myself forgetting to put on concealer. I think it's being discontinued also, because it's not available at the drugstore any more. I'll buy as much as I can before it's gone for good.
