Better Materials would increase birdhouse life. My 1st bazaar birdhouse lasted almost a year. Not happy! Bought another and now roof shingles are separated from roof. If this house repeats the 1st house I will ask for a refund. I will say the house looks are just awesome!

We bought this particular bird house because my wife loves to watch the small birds in our area. We were going to eliminate a few old ones based on the images showing 8+ holes.While it is a nice bird house, it only has 2 holes rather than what was depicted in the images when bought. Images have since been updated now to reflect current model being shipped.Had we known it was only 2 nesting areas, we would not have paid this much for this product as we now have to replace several other boxes as well.It is a nice looking bird house, so we do not want to trash the reputation, but we were disillusioned because we did NOT receive what was described and depicted in images, and feel the product was misrepresented in a large way. It is not a clubhouse any longer, it is a duplex.An update is that after just a few weeks out in the rain, certain areas are sewlling and coming apart. At the rate this is deteriorating, we will be lucky if we make a one year mark before it is in pieces.We will not recommend anyone purchase this pricey and extremely inferior product.Turning out to be a major disappointment for a high priced product.

Sooo i purchased this as a mothers day gift, and mom started crying because it was so beautiful. YES, i DID put a 5 coats of polyurethane on the whole unit, as it does need protection. I would recommend the seller does it, but eh, its not that hard to pickup some spray on coverage. So what. Its a beautiful birdhouse with lots of small pieces to make it unique. But it with the intention of putting a coat of coverage, and you’ll be FINE. Its a beautiful addition to the yard and will see what compliments mom gets ;)

I bought this bird house for the second time and love the way it looks. The birds live it, too. However, the second bird house I ordered is rotting and it’s only been one year since I had it. I don’t know if there was a problem with the wood but it’s so disappointing that it is not going to last as the other one did.

Product was packaged well and received quickly. Overall seems sturdy and well built. I gave 4 stars as the original images submitted by seller shows 3 holes on 1 side and one on each end. I bought this thinking it had more nesting boxes inside. When I removed the screws to see how to clean inside there are only 2 nesting boxes. Outside product only has one entrance hole on each side. Product description does not specify how many nesting boxes are inside. Product arrived fully assembled which is a plus. You will need to remove the screws in order to attach to a 4 x 4 pole and drill your own holes.

This is a beautiful bird house and very well made. i loved this bird house when I brought it. But in less the two years if fell apart.

I am extremely happy with this purchase. I love the design and it fits in well in this Southern garden. Prior to installing, I gave the birdhouse two coats of a crystal clear rubber-based sealant. I'm hoping that will prolong its life outdoors.

Top piece broke off 1st week. Paint on roof has peeled off. One of the white "air vents" fell off today. Very unhappy with this purchase 😞
