After reading reviews on the defective pump in this system I decided to go ahead and try it for myself anyway.My bad, The unit arrived all scratched up with a lid that does not fit correct. By lid I mean the section that holds the net pots in place. I could force it to fit but the slightest movement and it would pop off. I emailed the seller and told him of the problem and he asked me to send a photo. I sent 3 to which he told me he could not see anything wrong.I promptly returned this for a full refund, thanks Amazon.

No directions, no explanations about how much water to use, no nothing. I did what I could to make it work, but even the pump gave out in a few hours. Do not even consider this piece of crap. Not even an 800 number or brand name!

There were no instructions how to assemble or use this product. Cannot find instructions on the internet.
