Relief from CNH and works well with CPAP
After seven nights, I have been won over with this pillow. I have Sleep Apnea and CNH (pressure sensitive pain) in my left ear. I have been searching for a comfortable pillow for many months. I have improvised by cutting holes in memory foam pillows and foam pillows but never feeling comfortable with them. I am a side sleeper and those pillows mentioned would disturb my CPAP nasal mask and thus interrupt my sleep resulting in poor quality sleep. The adjustable fill in Pure Comfort pillow allows the mask to stay in place on whichever side I am sleeping. Also the hole in the pillow is large enough and situated in a comfortable place. I wake up feeling well rested. Finally! I would recommend this pillow for those reasons and also for excellent Customer Service. I would like to update as of 12/20/2019. As a reviewer noted, the original pillowcase has a zipper that does not span the entire width of the case. I expect that the zipper - being light weight- will fail at some point after wrestling to get the pillow into it. Gina, the president and contact person was very kind in providing a complimentary pillowcase although the case -which is different from the original - is too small to cover the entire pillow. I will wait for a new and improved pillow case and order one. But to be clear, I am very satisfied with this pillow for the reasons stated in my original review. Update July 3, 2020 I contacted Pure Comfort to inquire if there was a updated pillowcase that would better fit the pillow. Gina, the President, informed me that there was indeed a new pillowcase with a zipper that spans the entire width of the pillow. I would have to purchase the pillow in order to get it. BUT, I was was given so generous a discount that it made the purchase well worth it. The pillowcase zipper is indeed large enough now., I have not seen such excellent Customer Service in quite some time, if ever. Highly recommended!

All pressure on my ears is 100% gone.
I can no longer sleep 6 hours consecutively due to being awakened by outer ear pain. Sometimes, I awaken after only an hour of sleep. I've spent probably several thousand dollars on so many different types of pillows that promise freedom from ear pain, softness, neck support, etc. When I saw this pillow, I had real hope that my outer ears wouldn't get painful. The first time that I lay my head down, my ear in the hole, I knew that this would solve my problems! I've had it for several weeks now and I sleep 6 - 8 hours consecutively; I feel less fatigue as a result. You can turn the pillow over if you don't want to use the side with ear holes. It is memory foam, and it's not hard like so many of the pillows that I've had. It is small, but it supports my head and neck well. It has a pillow cover that can be removed and washed. For me, the softness of the memory foam is perfect. It doesn't hurt my neck at all. I am a side sleeper. During the few times that I lay on my back for a quick nap, I used the non-hole side. Again, it supported my head and neck well. It's memory foam, but it doesn't get hot as many others do. I 100% recommend this unique and amazing pillow!

It Works!
I purchased over a dozen different pillows to help with ear pain. This pillow was the clear winner. I will warn you that there is an odor to the pillow when you first open it and the pillow case cover is thin and not soft (only reason why 4 stars instead of 5). I ended up removing the pillow cover to wash it and then sprayed the pillow with an orange air spray. I set my pillow outside on my lawn chair for a couple days (or by an open window would work) to get fresh air circulating through it. The more I used this pillow the more comfortable it became. In one week in my ear pressure and pain was gone. I did purchase the matching silk pillow case but it arrived used and from looking at it, there was a bit of fabric pilling so this showed me the quality is not good. I’ll be purchasing silk fabric and making my own pillow case for it. Note that because of its size, the width of a standard pillow case won’t fit these. All-in-all, even with the smell and pillow case quality, I am happy with the purchase. Works great for fresh cartledge piercings in the ear.

I had to stop using it
My dermatologist suggested getting a pillow of this sort because she diagnosed CNH. It helped some, but it became more hassle than it was worth to try to get my ear in exactly the right position to prevent the discomfort of CNH. Most nights, despite my best efforts, I failed in the attempt and pressure was exerted by either the stuffing within the pillow itself or the part of the pillowcase surrounding the hole. The result was that I still had some CNH to deal with. Less than had been the case, but not enough less. In addition, it comes with only one pillowcase and there is no indication that additional ones are available. So if it wears out, you get to buy a whole new pillow. It is likely that it will wear out, because it has to be laundered after a few uses; removing it from and replacing it on the pillow is a hassle. After I was about to give up on it, I noticed that my wife had a little U-shaped thing--actually closer to omega-shaped, minus the sort of serifs at the bottom of an omega (for some reason I'm not able to upload the picture I took of it in any of the various formats I have tried) that makes it easy to avoid any contact with my ear but supports my head. It is around a foot in diameter. Its brand name is Belle Hop. It is available on Amazon: My dermatologist suggested getting a pillow of this sort because she diagnosed CNH. Ear Hole Not Positioned Correctly for Me
Got the pillow last night and used it for the first time. Will try it again for a few nights but I'm thinking I'll probably return it. The first thing I noticed when taking the pillow out of the packaging is that it is wider than a normal pillow. I didn't think anything of it other than that a standard pillowcase would probably not fit. Anyway, I slept on it and notice that the pillow is too wide for me. I have to stretch my neck to get my ear into the hole. I'm 5'6" and the hole is about 1-2" too high up on the pillow for me. All night I struggled as I was always below the hole. When laying on my back, the bottom edge of the pillow is below my shoulder. Woke up tired and with my neck and back aching. I go to sleep on my side but usually wake up on my back. I've squished the pillow as much as I can to get it above my shoulders and get my ear in the hole but it just seems to be a lot of effort. I've never used one of these as I was just recently diagnosed with CNH and the dermatologist had recommended another model but I thought this would be better since I sleep on both my side and my back (and I didn't like the way the model she suggested looked). Anyway, will try for a few more nights before making up my mind about sending back since this is all new to me.

AMAZING PRODUCT, AMAZING SERVICE!!
I’ve finally found my pillow!! My ear cartilage tends to get sore when I lay on my side, but I snore when I’m on my back. Also since the Covid lockdown started 11 weeks ago, I’ve been staring at screens a lot more and my neck has been hurting. It’s been impossible to get comfortable. I ordered one memory foam ear hole pillow from a different company but returned it after a week - it wasn’t soft and it felt flat. The ear hole In this one works great for preventing my ear pain and I’m not constantly flipping sides back and forth anymore. The shredded memory foam is sooo much softer than traditional memory foam - because you can fluff it. Initially the pillow felt too firm, but it’s because they purposefully overfill, and leave it for you to customize to your liking. I ended up removing about 3 gallon ziplock bags full of filling and then separated the remaining foam inside the pillow to fluff it up. The difference was incredible. No more neck pain either!! This morning I woke up feeling better than I have in 3 months!! Also, Pure Comfort contacted me through amazon to check on my satisfaction and to see if I had any questions or needed any help with the product, also to tell me they were sending me an extra pillowcase (which has an ear hole in it) - just because they want to take care of their customers. PRO TIP - WATCH THE VIDEO!! I almost didn’t because removing some foam from the pillow seems like pretty common sense stuff that you shouldn’t need a video for, but they’ve actually got some really great tips for how to customize the pillow to your needs.

Yet another SUPER HARD pillow (with hole for ear)
This is getting very frustrating. How hard can it be to make a decent, comfortable pillow and put a hole in it for the ear?! This pillow felt hard to my face and hurt my jaw, face, and neck. This pillow is a HUGE MASSIVE pillow and I’m 5’ 8 1/2” so I’m tall. They encourage you to pull the stuffing out to try to make it potentially more comfortable, but I absolutely was not convinced that would help how hard it felt. Honestly, it just sounded totally exhausting and I could see a huge mess occurring. I just ordered another pillow that apparently is by them as well and it feels a LOT softer although shaped oddly. So, I’ll see. I’m use to sleeping on a memory foam pillow, but although this uses memory foam stuffing, it was super uncomfortable. Also, it had a strong mildew smell that I believe is actually a memory foam smell. Unfortunately, this just wasn’t a good fit for me and it was frustrating because I have a very sore, hurt ear (that the dermatologist is still determining) and just need some relief when I sleep. If you sleep best on very hard pillows, this is your pillow!!

Life saver for ear pain!
For a few years I’ve been suffering with side sleeping ear pain. So much so that I seemed a dermatologist thinking that I could possibly have skin cancer on my ear from how sore, red and inflamed it had become. This dermatologist recommended I look into a donut shaped ear pillow for sleeping, I completely ignored her pillow suggestion until recently when my ear pain had increased. So I starting researching and read too many pillow reviews to count. I came across this pillow and was instantly sold when I read the review from a gentleman who posted before and after pictures of his similar ear sleeping pain, and how wonderful this pillow was. He was right! I’ve only used the pillow for one week now, but I’m beyond thrilled to see my red inflamed ear from side sleep has already started to subside! Amazing product that’s seriously comfortable shredded foam inside with a super soft zipper cover included. Some complained of smelling off, but I’ve had no smell issues. Buy this pillow if you suffer from side sleeping ear pain, it’s worth the it and you won’t be disappointed!

Utilissimo per il piercing industrial
Comodissimo per dormire di lato mentre determinati piercing sono ancora in fase di guarigione... mi ha risparmiato qualche notte insonne!

Worth trying for those suffering of ear related issues. Could be improved
There is a really strong smell like the other reviews have mentioned and it took for over an month for it to start dissipating. It didn't really bother me myself that much but missus did complain about it. The hole is definitely large enough for a ear but it feels like it is a little too "high" in the pillow. The biggest issue with this pillow is that the stuffing in the part where your neck would be resting is constantly moving to the sides. If you tend to move around in your sleep you might wake up with almost no filling left there to support your neck in the morning. Someone might actually prefer it this way as you can also adjust the pillow to a certain extent by moving around the filling. Is is annoying to wake up and to have to move the filling back into the center by hand. There are also definitely good sides to the pillow. It helped me out during a long healing process on both of my ears. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to keep their ears without being covered or just needs to relieve the pressure on and around them. People sensitive to smells might find this hard to adjust to at beginning but if you can give it time (or use something like ionizer to help remove the odor) and you are desperate to find solutions for your ear issues - this is not at all a bad product to try out. It is also a fair bit cheaper than lot of the other ear pillows and also a MUCH better design. The ear hole design is the best I've tried of any ear pillows so far. For my self this product is a 3/5 but with improvements to getting the filling to stay on the neck part I could see this being a 4/5 or even a 5/5.

Es incomoda y mala para el cuello.
No es comoda para el cuello. Se deforma toda y la oreja no esta nunca está en el hueco. No me parece un buen producto.
