Learning items & how they work together!
An excellent way for a child to learn how to assemble shapes, make them fasten, how they work together or not. Start over or make changes that do make it work. “Ideas, Size, Shapes & Functionality

Perfection for my ADD son
My son focused in on this project the minute he opened it, and did not leave it till it was completed. He was SO proud of himself for making it he took it to school for show and tell and his teacher praised him for his dedication and hard work! It was a great STEM activity for him!!

Great exercise in patience. Be gentle though!!
We had a blast putting this toy together! My son is 6 so I did most of the assembly but he loved turning the screwdriver, breaking out the pieces, and putting the chain together. He was so proud when the car took its first drive over some books :)However, the chain links keep breaking while it drives. We put an obstacle in front of it, the wheels start to climb it, but the chain snaps under the slightest tension. I have to disassemble the axles, put in a new link, then reassemble the axle. Once I broke a link while trying to replace the first broken piece so we lost two pieces during one repair.Update: I contacted the seller asking for new chain parts and they immediately replied and will send replacements. Awesome customer service.

too difficult to put together
My son tried twice, I tried twice. We got pretty far, but the instructions were horrendous. The first thing we struggled with was the gear on the motor. You need to push this one a little bit further than expected. Also before proceeding fiddle with the motor to make sure the gears are snuggly interacting with one another. To be honest, while we were frustrated, we loved it because this is how real life is - frustrating and you make it work. So, while not giftable due to the frustration factor, we found putting the climber together a valuable experience

Great introduction to mechanicals and controls
My daughter loves legos. I thought this might be a good next step, and it was. It was a lot more detail and work but small enough to get through without getting discouraged. Came out great and works well. She was so elated upon finishing the build. Definitely a confidence booster for her to take on larger projects and more new things. Great next step

Great for budding young engineers
I bought this as a gift for an 8 year old. He was able to build it himself, and was very proud of the accomplishment. Very nice educational gift, which he continues to play with. The challenge to build it was fun, but playing with it is just as much fun for him.

Not Worth The Money
This specific product is not for 8 year olds, let alone parents. The parts are too small and not labeled well and requires a lot of rework in order to connect the right pieces. The directions are poorly written and not easily understood. The amount of time required to assemble takes the fun out of building it.I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Great STEM project
I love doing stem products with my grandchildren. When I saw this one I was excited to send for it. It was easy to assemble and the grandchildren then took it outside for some more fun!!!
