Handle ripped right off just passed the return date of January 31. Ugh! I guess on the bright side is the case continues to be intact. I Just cannot hold as easy or stand it to watch video. Buy another product! I generally have had good luck with this company.

This is definitely not the Otterbox that I am used to that can withstandANYTHING. My daughter dropped this from the couch onto the floor and her ipad shattered beyond repair. The case was secure and installed correctly. The only silver lining about the case being on is that it contained all the shattered glass from the ipad screen.

It is durable. I'm pretty sure once it's in there it won't accidentally fall out or be damaged. However if you want to use your screen this isn't the one for you. It comes in two parts a front and back. It is a huge struggle to put together just saying have a pen or crochet hook in my case to help get it together right. But the plastic or glass or whatever on the front is so thick you're definitely not using a stylus and if you push down hard you can just barely actually use the screen. No drawing no games nothing that requires much screen use. I returned it because id like to use my new ipad. I have a 6th gen it does fit it right.

This is a very sturdy frame with clear front and back that securely holds and protects the iPad while allowing access to all buttons and visibility of both sides of your device. Maker suggests putting an ID card with your contact info on the back side where it will be protected under the clear plastic. I highly recommend watching youtube videos showing how the iPad is placed within this case. It is also important to clean the clear front and back of the case as well as the screen of your iPad of all dust and debris before sealing your iPad inside as it will be challenging to remove it later. Not impossible to remove, but difficult enough that you will kick yourself if you fail to clean the screen and clear cover and later find dust spots marring your view.

The price is very fair for an Otterbox product. I feel that my new iPad is very well protected and it included an excellent attached screen protector. However, it came without instructions and was a hassle to install. Ended up using a butter knife. It is bulky and heavy but that’s no problem and we will take it with us when we travel instead of flimsy lesser protected tablets that we have.

Bought this for one of our service techs after he dropped his iPad and broke the screen. We were looking for something that would protect the iPad after replacing the screen, but wanted something that wasn’t too bulky. This case is absolutely perfect! The tech loves it. Once we get new iPads we’ll purchase this case for all of them. Price was also great!

The back clip has broken off my this is my 7 yr old sons iPad. He is a VERY rough and tumble kinda kid so I am sure it tried to hold out as long as possible. He would CONSTANTLY play with it when watching videos and walking around. Open shut, open shutHas been dropped several times. iPad is protected but 100% not water proof. He spilt choc milk on it and it went all the way into the case. I was able to quickly take it apart, clean and put back together so all good. Again my son is very rough on his stuff I am sure normal use will be perfect.

I LOVE this case! It’s the second one I have bought. The first one works perfectly fine but I misplaced it when I switched to another case. After a few months with the other case, I decided to buy this one again. It’s sturdy and light and the stand is very practical. You won’t need an additional case. You can toss this In a bag or purse and go!

Fantastic design. Sturdy. Protected my iPad without hiding the beauty of its Rose Gold back. Otterbox is always a good choice.
