Ocean Digital Wi-Fi Internet Radio WR60 WLAN Wireless Wooden Desktop Alarm Clock Color Display - Black

Have been using this internet radio for about a month. Our old FM radio was unable to bring in our favorite stations when the weather was iffy. This sounds beautiful. To get my favorite NPR station, I had to find it on my computer and write down the URL--a VERY long URL. It took about half an hour to enter it into the radio, but now it plays it fine. I would like to use the sleep function on one radio station and the alarm function on a different one. So far, I can use the alarm on a station if I DON'T use the sleep function. If I use the sleep function the alarm comes on in the "melody" setting. Now, it's a very nice--wake up slowly--melody, but it's not Morning Edition. I like it. The sound is great. It's idiocycracies are bearable. And I may still figure out how to make it do exactly what I want it to do.

Good sound quality. FM antenna is pretty weak. The big downside is that you can only listen to streaming stations that are listed at mediayou.net, so make sure the stations you want are listed there before purchasing. It's possible to add your own stations, but that requires a bit of technical knowledge with finding the stream address, which isn't always easy.

While I do like the sound quality of this unit, there are some stations I cannot receive on this radio even when I select them as a Favorite in MyMediaU. The FM tuner does NOT work at all, and the interface looks rather cumbersome & clunky. Setup is going to be difficult for the average “non-technical” user. Yes, you can add a URL stream of a station....if you can find it and is a SHOUTCAST station. Problem is the average user is going to be lost with this radio. Finally, made a request to their tech support about a local station I can’t get....they were unresponsive. I suggest trying another radio until this company can get it’s act together.

The sound is good, with good bass and clarity. The volume is somewhat lacking on the internet radio but is louder on FM for some reason. Sometime takes a while waking up and buffering a station. Scanning and setting FM stations without the remote with just the radio controls is a pain. The manual is almost useless. Adding a new URL or IP, entering passwords, etc. is not too difficult but is a tedious process because you have to scroll through a huge list of symbols. I think that internet radios with a non-color display and simpler operation are easier to use and work somewhat faster.

Arrived today and on time. Easy to set up and a wide range of internet radio channels to pick from. Seller said it was 110-220 so can be used here and abroad. A plus! Very solid and looks great. Simple but modern. Wish I could program it to MIXLR and BTR.

Radio is lacking one feature I wish it had. I can't program in web sites that require a login. I listen to Hearts of Space (HOS) which is a paid subscription. The connection service on the radio is not sophisticated enough to allow logging in and then browsing to the different categories of music available on the site.Otherwise, the sound is good. It is easy to find stations that are pre-programmed. There are lots of choices. The wireless radio hardware seems to work fine (connects to Verizon MiFi fine, and to my home wireless network). Unit looks good on my desk. Remote works as advertised.I took a $125.00 chance on a feature, and lost.Still a good Internet radio.

Excellent internet reception, a snap to set up, generally convenient to use. Only criticisms are quibbles. It would be nice if internet stations could be saved directly on the radio, without reliance on the remote control. Further, given reliance on remote control, it shouldn't be necessary to hit "OK" after a station has been saved. A fine unit and highly recommended.

WR60 worked fine for a few days, but now cannot connect to my router. Even when going back to default settings to redo everything it fails to connect. I have had it with the hassles of the directions in the manual. When it worked it was great, now not so much. After two days I am returning this to Amazon.
