Lonely Planet Pocket Kuala Lumpur & Melaka (Pocket Guide) Paperback – Folded Map, July 21, 2020

I spent a week in KL, and I used this guide to pick out places to visit, and the maps were good enough to allow me to walk to most of these places, such as from the Pavilion Mall to Merdeka square to the Islamic Art Museum and several points in between. Then I was ready for points of interest more distant from my hotel. I would happily recommend this guide to anyone dropping into Kuala Lumpur for a week or less. It will let you use your time there to maximum benefit.

This is the perfect size, I carry it on the plane to make plans and then in my pocket during my trip. Very useful information, from currency, to electrical plugs, customs and sites to see. The book also includes a great map of the city. You can’t go wrong with any Lonely Planet guide book.
