My son is a nerd for all things Japan, sword, and knife related. So, this was perfect! It’s well-made, looks great whether it’s open or closed, and was a perfect, fun gift for him.

This is nice-looking umbrella but it's not very sturdy and I wish it had an auto deploy and retract for the price.

Great conversation starter! I have it sticking out of my backpack and people stop and ask me if it's a sword! Lol

I really liked it for the one week I had it. To bad the darn thing is so flimsy. First issue was the string on the handle came loose. I fixed that with some hot glue, no buggy. Well I later on I was opening it up and it split. The metal part of the rod at the top of the handle split in half man. What a shame!

I bought two of these. As I was taking them out of their boxes, I noticed the metal end caps aren’t even glued on. The umbrellas do no feel sturdy at all, even much less than you’d expect for something at lower this price.Update: I did an exchange, since the first two were broken. Guess what…SO ARE THE SECOND TWO. So all four umbrellas that I’ve now received have had metal end caps that were not attached. Whatever glue they’re using is useless. They should mechanically attach the caps or get better glue.I didn’t even bother opening or inspecting the rest of the umbrellas. If they can’t get something this simple correct, I doubt the rest is any better.
