Easy and made a huge difference
I used a regular drill to perform all the steps instead of hand sanding. The tape that came in the kit was terrible. First, there wasn't enough for even one headlight and second, it did not come off easily. Regular painter's tape was better. I retaped for each step (Sanding, Polishing, UV application). When completing the polishing step use all of the polish in the package and just keep polishing until it is gone. You shouldn't have to wipe off product at all before applying the UV protector, just a quick buff with a clean cloth. The UV protector takes a lot longer than 1-2 hours to dry. I finished applying it at 4:30pm, waited the 15 minutes and then pulled my truck out in to the sun. Left it outside until the sun went down and then pulled it into the garage. It was still slightly tacky at 7:30am the next morning. We will see how long it is able to keep the lenses clear. I'm very happy with the initial results.

if you use this product use a drill. also each pad is only good for one headlight i tried to stretch it dont do that. that being said, mine are much clearer and look a lot better.

Best headlight restoration kit
This product was great, easy to use, and actually cleaned up my headlights. The lights were becoming more dim over time due to build up of the yellowish haze. Sanding took it all off, and the polish made them look like new. Highly recommend getting your own masking tape to protect your paint. The roll this product came with wasn’t even enough for one light. Also highly recommend an electric drill to hook the Velcro pad into. Makes the job easier, and it will come out better.

Works OK, but poor quality sandpaper, and expensive
The headlights ended up looking pretty good, but the sandpaper is such poor quality, it self-destructed before I could actually cut through all the fog in the plastic. Also, the clearcoat needs a better applicator. The cheap foam applicator leaves lines behind it, which harden into the clearcoat.

Mine were too far gone
Pretty solid kit but I’m pretty sure headlights are just too far gone for this to work due to the 3m kit I used last winter really jacking them up but the drill attachment was awesome!

Worked so great.
It’s only day two so I don’t know about how well the clear coat will last. I love that I only needed a drill. No other supplies. It worked great!

One of the best that I used
I did not follow the step correctly the first time I used Mookis headlight restoration kit but it still worked on cleaning and making my light clear. When I did my truck it came out a lot better and I can see what’s ahead of me while driving. When I look at my truck it looks like a new set of lights in my truck.

Not for the novice
I gave it three stars because it’s a solid 2.7 ... This kit is not for the novice. Like many have said, there is definitely not enough masking tape in the kit. You will definitely want to use a drill because I’d imagine by hand you’d be exhausted. But remember with power you can do more harm then good. The kit came complete with everything described. When you’re sanding remember it’s going to look worse before it gets better even after the polish stage. The biggest disappointment was after applying the last stage UV protectant. First off I can’t stress how important it is to have a sunny/ dry day to let it harden. I did the job at night, tried black lights and xenon lights and it wouldn’t harden. I live in Canada and on a zero Celsius day in direct sun it probably took four hours to harden. After it did, the beautiful job I did went opaque.... so when the protectant dries it will dry somewhat cloudy, not clear like it goes on, as well it won’t be perfectly smooth. But out of all this I can say that I’m the end, the headlight is definitely clearer than before. I’ve never used other kits so I can’t say they’re better but I have a feeling for the extra few bucks, they just might be. The last picture is how they turned out, wish they stayed as clear as the second when the UV protectant is first applied. Good luck !

Just OK
based on reviews and the low price point I purchased. In a few words, the product was just OK.The wet sanding pads all started to disintegrate as the sanding pads were made from actual paper unlike higher quality variants. Having said that, you can achieve a very smooth finish on the headlights and get good results. The biggest issue I faced was the application of the clear coat (UV) protector at the end of the process. Followed the instructions very closely and it still resulted in massively streaked up lenses due to the coating drying/curing incorrectly. It is worse than before I started. If you buy this kit, do not use the clear coat UV protector otherwise, the rest of the kit just gets by and gets decent results.had to buy the 3M kit along with some 2000 grit sandpaper from the local hardware store to clean off the coating and then polish and apply the 3m clear coat. Now I have a result that is what I was expecting.I would ask for a return, but there is nothing left to return!!!! don't waste your money, get the 3m product.
