Palladium Women's Baggy Canvas Boot

I think these shoes are very stylish and was considering buying them for about a year... Maybe longer. I couldn't find a lot of reviews about them, and I have anxiety about making non-prime purchases sometimes so I decided to wait & put it off until my previous shoes were shriveled threads. Now that I have these shoes I wish I hadn't waited, but am glad I came around nonetheless.First, I am a bit active on my feet and wear my shoes out more quickly than the average person. These shoes are great for me because of the inset heavy duty upper. Rather than being sewn in, or glued onto a basic commodity sole (like keds style, or toms) the upper of these boots are inlaid deeply into a heavy duty rugged sole.Second they lace up comfortably and are sturdy, but not too stiff like many rugged boots just out of the box. These will lace up tightly enough to conform to your feet on the very first wear (for those who prefer to have their feet cradled).Third, I did NOT have to break these in... at all. They felt great when I put them on out of the box, and I was prepared to spend the day getting used to my new shoes and letting them get used to me. But halfway through the day I realized that these shoes felt amazing, my feet were completely comfortable. I have a job where I am up and about- on my feet for the entire day. And on top of that I live downtown, I bike to work, and I walk at least a mile every day in errands/ daily rituals aside from work. I felt no foot stress/cramps or uncomfortable rubbing (like against my achilles heel for example) from the very first wear on.When I buy a pair of shoes my intent is to wear them exclusively until they fall apart. These shoes were extremely flexible right out of the box- Great for walking, running for the train, playing frisbee- everything. These are total lifestyle shoes.

Meh:- Chaffed my legs at the top of the boot after a couple days of wear. There should be a better lining at friction points.- Narrow toe box. Despite adjusting the shoe laces, they squeezed my toes even with the thinnest socks.- Flat laces are a bad idea. They should have round laces for easy adjustment, especially since this shoe needs to be adjusted every time you put it on.- sole is painfully flat. I can't imagine this shoe would accommodate an insole with how tight it is already.- Could really use a zipper so I don't have to deal with the laces every time.Awesome!:- the tread seems durable. I'll update if this isn't the case.- the fabric itself seems pretty durable to abrasions.- fold top is a nice feature.

I LOVE these. The only issue is the arch support, but a lot of shoes have similar or worse support, so I guess it's not a big problem in my eyes. Years of wearing converse and keds make pretty much anything seem better!I ordered these in a 7 because I'm a 6/6.5 and reviews said they ran a little small, but I should have definitely just ordered a 6.5. I have narrow feet, though, so if you're feet are wide I would recommend ordering a half size up. The heel is wearing a bit on me, but I'm sure with some thick socks and some patience I'll break 'em in in no time.Very good quality! The tread is great, super excited to bust it in, canvas is thick and reliable feeling, rubber is molded really nicely, laces are sturdy and seem high quality, snaps are a little hard to snap but that's actually good because there's no way for them to just jostle loose like I've seen with other shoes, I've got no qualms at all with the quality of these boots. Look great up or down! Really excited to wear these this summer and romp around.If you're worrying what these look like on and from the front specifically in black and worn both ways (I was, I'm pretty particular about my shoes) DON'T WORRY. These are SUCH good looking shoes it's hard to imagine them looking back on anyone with anything you could want to wear with them. Definitely worth it in every way.A note about ordering shoes: I HIGHLY recommend actually MEASURING your feet. There are guides online, super easy to find. I know different brands run different fits, but it seems like people are always just guessing or misremembering or wearing poorly fitting shoes. It's a shame to see people rate products low just because they don't know their actual foot size. It's NOT helpful in reviews (especially since people like me end up following the advice and order too large) and I'm sure it's a bummer for the people who do it, as well! These fit exactly like a 7 to me, I usually wear a 6.5 and used to settle for 7s so I would know! ALSO, if you know you have wide feet, don't order shoes in your regular size unless they specify they're wide! My mom has wide feet and she knows, so it seems like y'all should too.Will try to add pics from the front soon, so check back if you really need to know!

It’s stylish and super comfortable. It’s lightweight, great support, and the color goes with everything. I had on for most of my trip in Africa and just need to figure out how to wash it! True to size!

Excellent fit, terrific tread, seem very well made. Been wearing for a day and they feel great. I have skinny feet, so there’s a little extra canvas on the sides, yet they feel fine. I love that the ankle top “baggy canvas” can flip up to be more of a boot!SIZING NOTE :: I ordered a Women’s USA size 8.5. Box for shoes also notes Women’s USA size 8.5. Actual tag inside shoe is listed as Men’s USA size 7. These are comparable sizes, and this is my first pair of Palladiums and first order from Outdoor Equipped, so I’m not sure if this is typical. I will say, the shoes fit absolutely perfectly, are what I was looking for in a “durable, black, high-top”, and I am SUPER HAPPY with them. Thank you!
