Only much more expensive binoculars offer the kind of quality optics in the roof prism binoculars that makes up for this difference.3) Sturdy, compact, lightweight (at just over 8 ounces), and splash-resistant.You will not find a pair of binoculars that offers (1) - (3) at under $20. I have used these and find the image quality to be very good. But, as with all binoculars, you have make sure you adjust the focus properly: use the middle wheel to adjust the focus for the left eye, then use the right wheel to adjust focus for the right eye. Take time to get it right.Of course, you can spend up to $2000 (seriously) to get a better quality pair of binoculars, but these offer the image quality you would typically find in compact binoculars priced $50 - $200.Disadvantages:- The binoculars are not waterproof but just splash-resistant, so be careful not to expose them to too much rain/water - it can ruin them.- Under certain cold conditions, the outside of the lens you look through and possibly also the inside lenses may fog up. I simply love it!!!!. Works well, its vision is clear and sharp. The distance is great. Bird watching is my new hobby...the birds look amazing....Wow! Looking forward to using them at concerts once this pandemic ceases.

Binoculars are a convenient size. Easily fits in a large pocket. Build seems rugged. Image is very sharp and gradually falls off toward the edge as most binoculars do. Adequate brightness for daytime use. Colors seem natural. focusing is smooth and it is easy to get a sharp focus. Amazing for the price! I would pay a HIGHER price for being waterproof, but with care these should last a long time. These will be gifts. I have too many expensive binoculars already for myself.Jim

I own several pairs of binoculars and 3 telescopes.These are one of the best values I have ever seen. They are small and light but they have real achromatic coated 25 mm glass lens. If you need more light gathering power then you should look foe a wider objective lens. But the strength of these is that they are great for travel or hiking where you don't want to lug around heavy binoculars and space and weight are a consideration.

Pretty basic, however value for item was well worth it.

I was afraid to buy them the because of such a good price, but Ian glad I did. I used them at a concert and I felt like I was right in the front seat. Good clear vision, lightweight.

Not blurry. Clear and zoomed close enough to view things. It's not high tech where I can see for miles but very good for the price. Recommended.

Bought these for my bird watching wife and she is very happy with these. Easy to focus, easy to carry, and the carrying case, cleaning cloth, and neck strap are all very handy. For $17.99, you won't beat this pair of binoculars.
