My husband is an inspiring drummer and he lost his ever loving mind over these.Pros: quality, sturdy, bright lights, good weight, etc. Sound is good. Not sure abt the battery life yet.Cons: He won’t stop playing the drums now. Thanks Amazon. Hahahaha

They were very bright and functional for my sons band night I'd highly recommend this item!

The media could not be loaded. I’m constantly looking for new ways to improve my showmanship. I thought I would give these a try! They do work very well: are flashy and super fun, specially on a dark stage; but there’s a certain flexibility in them that you don’t find in wooden sticks. That flexibility requires your wrists to work harder in every hit, and doesn’t sound as hard as if you were playing with wooden sticks. I recommend you play with them for no longer than 2 songs, or your wrists will be sorry.

i'm a longtime drummer and i bought these as a gift for my nephew who turned 10 & who's been taking drum lessons for over a year. this year, he received a lot of toys as usual, big and small. i thought maybe these drumsticks wouldn't compare to the video games and bigger, more expensive gifts. i'm so glad i was wrong. after opening them he almost immediately pulled out his drum pad and started drumming away. i also got a chance to try the sticks. as others have mentioned, the material has a different feel. depending on your level of technique and ability, you may or may not be able to reproduce what you can do with a traditional wood stick...but is it worth buying? absolutely! the lights may seem like a gimmick, but i have to say that it's so much fun to watch as i played and also watching my nephew play. i'm seriously considering getting some for myself to take live performances up a notch.

These drum sticks are amazing. I love how they change colors.

They do exactly as advertised; they light up when hit, they look cool, and they have a long battery life, but they don't sound good for acoustic sets. I would highly recommend these be used for electronic kits only.
