Murder at the Pizzeria 6-14 Player Murder Mystery Flexi-Party Dinner Party Game

We are a group of women varying ages who were going away for the weekend and wanted to try a murder mystery dinner party.It was easy to follow and everyone had their character information in advance and everyone made an effort. Unfortunately one of our party had to drop out last minute however thankfully the game allowed for this and we were still able to play with just 5 of us.We decided to make it Italian restaurant themed having looked at other reviews and this worked out well with a three course meal.The game can be reused which makes it great value too.We all had a great night and lots of laughs with people trying to do an Italian accent! Give it a go you know you're dying to!!

Bought this game for a new year party.This murder mystery party game is for 6-14 people and if someone can't make it that's ok as long as you have 6 people.Had great time playing this game.Great fun

Bought this to entertain family at Xmas. 10 of us played for a good couple of hours and had a great laugh. Surprisingly, even the shy family members and grumpy teenagers soon got into it. Really funny listening to those trying to impersonate an Italian accent as they became more absorbed.It’s the first time we’ve done anything like this and didn’t know if it would work but with a bit of preparation before hand and a good few glasses of wine we had a great laugh.TIPS - (1) The host needs to read through the script before hand and make sure you know what your doing otherwise it’ll run flat (2) Allocate roles best suited to each person playing (3) listen to the recordings before hand as part of your prep. (4) Give a brief explanation of how it’s going to work before you start (5) Let people get into their roles slowly it takes time to break the ice for the sceptics (6) split the game into 2 halves with a break in the middle for a bite to eat or something (7) worry less about who done it as the real fun comes from participating particularly with the confident players who soon get into character (8) let in run without over prompting.We simply played it stood up in the kitchen with drinks and it worked great. We had a break in between and it lasted a couple of hours. Don’t fret about sending invites, costumes etc as it works great without.

this was absolutely brilliant we went away for a week with two other couples and we plan to only play this one's but as it was so much fun and so easy to pick up we played it several times with a variety of different characters easy to swap out easy to play multiple times.I would highly recommend to anybody even if you don't do this normally this was our first murder mystery party and I'm so glad we used as set as the instructions are very clear and because of the way it's setup it has unlimited replay value.so glad we bought this set and we have now bought several more.

Great game, all contained and ready to go!

Used for daughter's 16th birthday. Gave us a good and easy theme to run with (italian restaurant) and the girls enjoyed putting together their costumes. Easy to follow and the clues/ red herrings made solving it fun. We'd do another!

Even with two guests not arriving we still could play our murder at the pizzeria! Great value, simple to use. Loved the option of playing the evidence over a speaker. Great fun! The versatility with guest numbers really helps and made it very easy to navigate through after several drinks!

This was absolutely amazing. Thoroughly recommend this as a dinner or cocktail game. This one works particularly well as a sit down dinner event.We had actually booked a catered dinner for this occasion in any case with an Italian chef. When we saw that the evidence script is ready by the chef / detective we asked the chef to read it and it was ultra hilarious. Do something similar if you want spot on context!I would recommend that the host read the instructions carefully beforehand. There is no assigned victim with this format of game. Also the character sheets are only supposed to be read at the start of the game but there’s a lot of information so if you want to learn the parts in advance and try and memorise it would be better to to read these well in advance. Otherwise everyone has to read from the sheets which is fine anyway.
