Works well!
These markers are great for calligraphy and lettering. They blend very nicely and are easily used on a variety of papers.

Bunched up color
The colors didn't flow which bothers me. When applied to paper its an uneven application.

Description and title of product is very deceiving.
From what I read these are supposed to be gradient type pens and they are if you change the color each and every time, they don't automatically color shift as the description led you to believe. Now any marker will shift colors if you change colors come on now, but these didn't shift at all unless you of course change the color. Very expensive item for something that does not work. Don't bother.

A learning curve, but it's worth making the effort
Let's start with the price. It seems a little high when you first browse the product, but it works out to just under $1.50 per pen. That's about the same, or even less, as you'd pay for a decent pen in a real art supplies store, so it's not outrageous. The product comes in a cheap plastic display box which holds the pens in three tiers. It's a little hard to get the pens in and out from the lowest tier. The instructions are important to read, but could be clearer. If you've never used the pens before, you'll need to take some time to figure out exactly how they work. There's definitely a learning curve, and the overall results are quite variable when you first start using them. It's important to get used to how long to hold the pens upright for the colors to blend, and you'll need to be prepared to take time to bleed out any excess ink to ensure they continue to give best results.Final thoughts - these pens can give some very cool results, but you'll need to be patient and willing to go through a learning curve to get the best outcomes.

My Favorite Color Fineliners
I bought these fineliners to use in my bullet journals and I absolutely adore them. There was a slight learning curve to mixing the colors but once I figured that out I was good to go. They make such lovely color gradients that are good for writing or doing smaller detail work-but if you do this do a 1~3 second hold so the gradient will show up faster. If you find that your pen is not reverting back to the original color, maybe because of the long hold time, take a scrap piece of paper and make big swirls on it and the original color will come back. I had to do that after a 10 second hold. All in all I love the color selection and being able to mix colors to achieve the looks I want without carrying around a bunch of extra pens. I highly recommend.

Great value for the money
I love my chameleon pens and use them everyday as regular fineliners. I blend by cross hatching though. These pens aren't really worth it for beginners, I recommend buying the smaller packs if you are starting out, to see if you like them.
