Brighter than expected. Color excellent. Long Life.
I got these primarily to save money on electricity. But I got more than that. According to my light meter, the bulbs are significantly brighter than an 100W incandescent bulb. I had resisted buying LED bulbs before because of the color, which was much too blue. These bulbs have a light spectrum that is close to an incandescent bulb, which I much prefer. I might be able to tell the difference in a side by side comparison, but as a replacement, the only difference that I can see is that these LED bulbs are brighter. The other difference is that they are very long life. I leave some of these on 100% of the time and I had my first failure recently. I believe that I got more than 50,000 hours life. That is way better than buying long life 130 volt incandescent, which are supposed to last 5,000 hours at 130 volt and about 14,000 hours at 120 volts. Of course, typical residential voltage is 123 to 125 volts, so the life is less. It appears that these LED bulbs are not sensitive to the voltage, either.

They work, the soft white light emits enough light to read by and easy on the eyes.

Light quality is great and dimming works flawlessly
I switched from Philips 'Warm Glow' LED to LUNO after Philips changed their design to be incompatible with LED Dimmers. I put these LUNOs in a regular lamp with a Lutron LED dimmer and they work great. There's no flicker, the light quality is great, and the bulbs are the same brightness with the dimmer at 100% as they are with no dimmer. I don't know why other companies have such trouble making quality 100w LED bulbs that work with dimmers, but LUNO nailed it. Recommended!

Lots of light
These are great bulbs. I needed more light for reading at the kitchen table with an enclosed fixture. These bulbs work well. They're a bit larger than some so for some applications might be too large but I've used them in a couple places and been very satisfied.

Spooky when they start burning out
I don’t know how long they will last we bought our house and these bulbs were in most of the fixtures so I went with the exact same ones so we’ll see.The one thing I wanted to say was that when they do start to die they flicker and of your home alone in a new house you start to wonder who died in the house and is this the reason they wanted to move.
