TilleyUnisex Classic T3, Khaki, 7.5

Great hat, but returned it cause it wasn’t great on me.

Have had many Tilly hats over the years. Heavy cotton, wide brim and they last a long time. I do not buy the ones made in China.

I like the quality and comfort of the hat. The khaki is really gray.

This is good for sun and rain. The brim drips water off, unlike some other hats where the brim is curved such that it will collect water. Seems well-constructed. I like the look of it.

Excellent. It is a heavy duty canvas brim hat. If one needs or wants a hat that is protective from the sun and rugged, this is a great choice. It is not quite as cool or lightweight as their organic cotton version (which I have also), but the cylindrical shape of the T3 crown, as opposed to the conical, tapering shape of the T4MO, actually provides a little more airspace around your head near the top of the crown.

My husband had a tilley for over 20 years and it finally ripped. Had to replace it - he is so happy. He wears it ALL the time and the first one lasted so long, maybe even 25 years.

The hat is great, but NOTICE: you cannot return this hat if the size is wrong. Not only does Amazon prohibit that, they won't let you sell your purchase on Amazon either. So when this turned out to be too big - despite my going to two stores and measuring on similar products from the same company (this one is sized differently, apparently) I'm stuck with a hat that doesn't fit. Bad - this should be called out at the time of order.- - - Update.Somehow, I ran through some different options and after a time I was able to return it. But the method for doing that was totally obscure. And I did not make up the messages I got from Amazon telling me I could not return it. But that was evidently wrong. (I'm leaving my original text of the review otherwise the comments I received would not make sense.)
