Ok so alllll the reviews I read prior to purchasing this were all like, omg these are so cute! HA! I bought these as a gag gift because they do not resemble a baby at all, they resemble the head of a ….you fill in the blank here and use your imagination. Seeing as these were given as a gag gift, they were a huge hit and everyone found them hilarious. They are actually much bigger than I expected as well. Will definitely buy again for another gag gift.

The butter boy is a handy little helper when buttering corn. My husband and I recently had a barbeque where we served grilled sweet corn and everyone loved the butter boy. I was asked several times where I purchased it and said it made applying butter to the corn so much easier.I'm on the east coast so our sticks of butter fit perfectly (just have to cut them in half, since the butter boy only takes a half of a stick). The opening where the butter comes out is curved so it glides right over the corn cob. As the butter runs low, you just push a small little plunger at the bottom to bring the remaining butter to the top. The outfit design (which is adorable) is printed on (I'm guessing newer models do not have the design as a sticker) and doesn't look like it will wash off and so far the whole device seems easy to clean.I'm really happy with the butter boy. Adults seem to like it because of the ease of applying butter and I believe it's perfect for kids since they can independently apply their own butter, plus it's cute! but over all it's a handy little device.

Summer's here, and so is fresh sweet corn. I love corn, but hate trying to butter it by herding a pat 'o butter in place with a fork! I saw Butter Boy here and ordered one, and this little guy looks cool, and works great!I'm a West Coaster, and most of our butter sticks here are too wide to fit Butter Boy's smaller, older style thin and long stick opening (without being cut down of course, which is doable but kind of messy).I was shopping the other day, and noticed that Challenge butter ( a national brand, I think) makes a European-style butter both unsalted and with sea salt that is made in the longer thinner style stick, and these fit Butter Boy perfectly with no trimming needed to the overall dimensions (you just need to cut a shorter length). Really tasty butter for corn, as well! Hopefully this might help others who face a similar problem.Also, my Butter Boy came with his outfit nicely printed on the plastic, not as a sticker, so that seems to be solved.Looking forward to more delicious buttery corn this summer!

Not only is this guy cute, but he holds up better than any other better spreader I’ve had. Love that I can just buy the 1/2 sticks and not have to cut any butter special. Just bought another as a gift when I saw my friend using a knife. Great product!

This is our second butter buddy! The label comes off after a couple of washings. Great for sweet corn!

Buter sticks do not quite fit. Have to carve them.

Excellent buttering device for BBQ'd corncob. Fill with butter, flip off top, rub curved top along cob, push up from bottom for more butter. A necessary BBQ tool. Highly recommended.
