Easy to install. Large enough door for my big fat cat. Easy open flap for even my smallest cat. Door has locks so you have total control of entry and exit. You are able to choose no entry/exit. OR, you can choose unlocked for entry locked exit. Or exit only with no entry. It’s perfect! I did install the door in a window. I couldn’t find an affordable window option in this price range that would accommodate my biggest cat. I made frame from plywood to suit my need. I added some “stained glass” vinyl for a little more privacy. Because it is in a bedroom window. I’m very happy with the door. I would recommend because it is easy to install. It is sturdy. It has a framed in look when installed.

Fits well into a standard US interior door. My 14lb Pomeranians eventually learned to jump thru it. The clever directional locks do work, although they're a bit of a pain to work, and aren't very sturdy. I wasn't planning on using them anyway, so doesn't really matter. I would not install this on an exterior surface exposed to elements: it isn't airtight, will let water in without extensive waterproofing, and the plastic will deteriorate and become brittle from direct sunlight sooner or later.

Simple to install, magnet at base of the door works really well. Glad we went with the XL, sizing seems to run a little small.

This was a great size for my cats. We used it for the basement door so we could keep the litter box downstairs. So many cat doors are WAY too small. This was a good size for our mid-sized pussers.

The cat door is a great size, and easy for my cat yo go through. The installation is easy, the door swings easy, and looks great.I would definately purchase it again!

Just as advertise very nice

I purchased this last month to add a cat door to my basement. The first item arrived damaged, as the hinges for the door were broken. I received a replacement which had no issues. I eventually learned that the magnet isn't necessary for my needs and tended to catch my cats' tails as they went through, so I removed it. Without the magnet it still closes fine and remains in the closed position, but it's also easier for my cats to open. I planned to add a second cat door elsewhere so I bough this same model a month later, and in that time period it appears to have been updated slightly (further evidenced by the newer, arguably less detailed instructions). The magnets are now glued in, making it significantly more difficult to remove them without breaking the plastic door. Looking at earlier reviews it seems like several other people preferred this without the magnet as well, so it would have been nice if this change was not made and people could have the option to choose whether or not they want the magnet. If the door was removable that would also be beneficial to slowly acquaint your cats to going through the hole before requiring them to learn how to push the door, but instead I had to prop it open for a week.

Easy to install if you’re the slightest bit handy, works perfectly for letting the cat into the garage to use her litter box without having to keep the door open!
