This is such a simple device I can't believe it's not a 50 year-old design, and it works excellently. I wish I had this in college. Pretty much anything that claims to open bottles will get the job done, but this is by far the best device I've ever used at resealing bottles with crown tops. I've had better luck with this than with screwing back on screw-off crown tops.I particularly like that the bottle opener part folds down. It keeps the whole thing secure for transporting in a cooler, and takes up less space in the refrigerator than the competitors that are just one solid piece. It's also just easier to use and get good seal. I'm buying a second one.

Oh man. Perfect for saving some left over beer or soda. Seals perfectly and tightly. The opened also works very well and grips and does not slip.

This works great on standard 12 and 11.2 ounce bottles. I buy some strong Belgian ales and craft beers and sometimes I only want to drink half and it keeps the carbonation so far two days without noticeable difference in the second half of the bottle. I had hoped because of other reviews saying that it fit most champagne bottles that it would work with corked and caged 750ml bottles of Belgian Ales but the bottle of Delirium Tremens I opened today while I had a friend over was way too large for the Sizzler device. So I gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because I liked it but I need to get something else meant for champagne bottles still.

Great, handy little 2-in-1 tool to have — especially as part of your cocktail making toolkit!Feels well-made, especially for its price.Just make sure to dry properly before storage, otherwise it can develop a bit of rust.

In my long search for stoppers that fit my Martinelli Sparkling Cider bottles, I found this “capper” that seals across the top of the bottle. It fits multiple size bottles because of the spring arm on one side that adjusts to the size of the bottle when you press it on from the top. You have to make sure you press it firmly, flat to the top of the bottle then pull the locking lever down.Unlike other, outside the bottle cappers that are one piece straight across, the folding feature is space saving, allowing normal storage in refrigerator or on ice, with nothing jutting out. The folding feature makes it a convenient portable pocket capper to take to parties to cap off whatever you’re drinking from a bottle that you don’t want left open while you’re not drinking it, whether to preserve the carbonation or avoid your beverage being tampered with.

Between the sizzler and the westmark hermetus, I choose the sizzler for my use case (I bought both).The sizzler is an integrated bottle opener along with bottle sealer. "Why would you want to seal a bottle? Why not just finish your drink?" ask my friends. Well sometimes the most convenient way to purchase your beverage means buying them in 1.2 liter (40 oz) bottles instead of cans. This is the predominant way in Baja Mexico.The sizzler has come with us daily to the beach for the winter season, that's 3 months of salt water exposure. There are some small areas of surface rust but nothing has impacted use. If I had to buy a new one each year for $8 I wouldn't be upset either.The best part about the sizzler compared to the westmark is that the lever cams over to lock on the top of the bottle. You can lay the bottle back in a travel cooler and there's no chance of it releasing or opening accidentally. It's awesome. Also storing bottles in the fridge, it's not as wide as the westmark so it's more space efficient.Buy 1 or more of these things. I love it.

It doesn't fit on some bottles but the ones it does, it fits great and seals in carbonation and flavor. It can open and seal most bottles, great for camping or if you need to save your drink for later. The materials look and feel high quality. You have to use quite a bit of force to ensure a good seal and some bottles it just won't seal on which can be dangerous as you learn which bottles work.

It opens bottles as well as any decent bottle opener; that's nothing special. The resealing though is quite the trick. Instead of wedging on a seal (like the Westmark) or using a "never quite right" stopper; this one snaps over the lip of the bottle and then locks in place (push down on the opener to lock it on). I liked my 1st one so much I bought 3 more.
