Good option for a quick, high protein snack
Good option for a quick, high protein snack. Although a little on the dry side, these almond chocolate chip Atlas Bars are a solid protein bar that tastes good. I really like how they are not only high in protein, but are also made with all natural ingredients and are high in fiber (while not high in calories). I've eaten these bars post morning workout and as an afternoon snack - they keep me full for a decent amount of time! If you're looking for a new protein bar, give Atlas Bars are try!

Completely and Utterly Disappointed
The media could not be loaded. To start off, I am a fan of Atlas bars. I order boxes of them every month. Protein source is great and value is also fair. Their variety of bars is cool if you want to change things up (I have tried all of them and the chocolate almond one is the best). Overall I am a satisfied customer. This all changed with the new formula. Now the bars are EXTREMELY OILY!? I stained my shirt because the bar DRIPS OIL!? I now can’t eat this on the road because it’ll get l over my car and clothes. The texture now is much worse. Before, the texture was soft, fluffy, and easy and satisfying to bite into. Now the bar is so hard I can barely get through it without my jaws tiring. The taste is blander now too! How could you do this!?I am so disappointed to the point where I am now canceling all future orders of this stuff (I ordered 4-5 BOXES a month!).And I am not a fan of the new branding. Before the branding looked like what your word is, Atlas, an adventure. Now it looks like a gator aid clone! Why!? You even got rid of the shiny graphics on the wrapper >:(Whoever made these changes, why do you hate yourself so much? There was nothing wrong with the previous brand / formula. I simply don’t get why you would change something that was working. Think about it, has Clif bar changed their formula through the years? What about their branding? How do you think their business is going? Please change it back! The rebrand/re-formula was a horrible move!

Healthy protein bar with less sugar
Liked taste and texture of Almond Chocolate chip protein bars. Another good one is the ingredients; grass fed whey. Overall I’m happy with the product but one thing I didn’t like or hate is text on the external package as it says in summary, you won’t achieve your dreams but instead you would indulge in daily tiresome activities where this bar comes in handy. I would change the message, don’t like seeing demotivating comments even if not planning on reading general description on the package more than once.Update 08/25 (Variety pack) - As name says, variety pack is a good way to checkout all varies. Latest bars are w/ 20g protein but texture is still hard which is ok for me.

flovorful
I love these bars. They have the least artificial taste of any protein bar I have tried. Also, very low in sugar and lots of protein. Other reviews have complained about some of the bars being oily. I actually liked the oily bars I have received (this box was drier), as the oiler bars are chewier and actually taste like you are eating a dessert bar. The drier bars, while still good, are not quite as tasty.

Great Ingredient Profile, but Awful Taste
I had high hopes for these because they’re the only all natural bars that also are peanut free. Not a lot of clean options for people with food allergies. Unfortunately, these bars are practically tasteless and dry and overly chewy. I won’t be buying more.

Oily mess
Well, I've tried both flavors an I'll start by saying. They both taste great. However, they are absolutely bathed in oil. They leak out and are impossible to eat without a napkin. See pictures for more on that. Overall, I probably won't order again until they fix the oil problem.

Great no-cook, no-prep protein supplement
20 grams of protein with only 3mg of cholesterol and 1g of sugar in a no-chemicals-added grab & go snack? Works for me! It does contain coconut oil, which I try to avoid due to the saturated fat; but these bars end up with 10g total fat and only 3.5 grams of saturated fat. Also, I really like them. It's still a processed food, so I don't think it's a good idea to eat more than one a day, but all things considered, it's a great way to get another 20g of protein into my diet. The one drawback for me is that I live in a warm climate and they get oily/messy to the touch when I store them in the pantry where there is no air conditioning. So in the summertime I keep them in the refrigerator. Problem solved and not worth subtracting a star from this review.

Bad flavor
I rarely throw food out and just power through eating something, even if I’m not crazy about it. The texture and flavor on these was pretty bad. I’ve tried Atkins, Quest and Cliff, among others, and this was pretty awful. I tried to “like them enough” to finish the box, but tossed most of them out - and they are really expensive.
