Moisture Without The Shine!*
🌟 The Dr Sebagh Skin Perfecting Cream arrives nicely boxed and comes in a 50ml, simplistic, stylish, glass tub.➕️ As someone with quite oily/sensitive skin, I sometimes struggle to find a moisturiser to wear in the morning underneath makeup that doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy and end up making my makeup look cakey. I think I've finally found a moisturiser that ticks all the boxes, although it does come at a price!➕️ The moisturiser is made in France and comes in a stylish, glass container, which I really like. The cream has a lovely pink colour to it and doesn't appear to have any scent making it great for sensitive skin.➕️ The cream feels thick and creamy without an almost gel like texture, it's quite a unique formula. It very slightly glistens in the light. A little does go a long way as it really does blend and glide onto the skin with ease.➕️ Upon application, you can really feel it moisturising the skin and getting into all the creases and folds. Quite soon after, the formula blends into the skin and dries with a matter effect/finish, so your skin is left feeling soft and lovely without grease or shine. It's fantastic for those with oily skin to apply under makeup giving your foundation a solid base without any greasyness or oiliness.🌟 Overall I really like this cream. It's definitely pricey but it really does moisturise and soften oily skin helping to combat oiliness without drying out the face. It's also perfect for sensitive skin without any irritation at all. Highly recommend!

Lovely cream, very lightweight.
I have always had combination skin with an oily T zone. I usually use a primer, foundation and loose powder to try and combat this so I was more than happy to use this cream and see if it helped. As this cream is rather expensive I've used it for at least two weeks so that I could give it a thorough review. To start with the packaging is very nice it definitely looks expensive and really stylish. The cream comes with a tiny spoon if you wish to use it and there was also a plastic seal on the top. The cream is a really nice pink toned colour and is very lightweight. The texture is kind of a mix between a cream and a gel. When I first put it on my face my skin feels slightly taught but after around 30 seconds this feeling disappears and I'm just left with smooth skin that has a matt finish. My skin does not feel dry and my makeup sits beautifully on top of it. I actually think I've been able to use less Foundation than I normally do. I have only been using this cream in the mornings as I like to use a more intensive cream at night. I'm really happy with this cream I do feel it's made my skin look and feel great but I have still noticed my skin is a little oily by midday but it's definitely an improvement and the texture and brightness also seems to be improved. Obviously everyone's skin is different so I can only comment on how it's worked for me and as I'm happy with it I'm happy to recommend it.

Great
This cream comes neatly packaged and has a small spoon included to help with applying if wanted. There is also a plastic cap on the top of the cream for freshness. The cream itself is a light pink colour but it doesn't change the colour of your skin. When applying the cream if feels lightweight on your skin and once dried it you're left with smooth skin. I've been using this cream for a couple of weeks now and so far I am really happy with the outcome. My skin feels much smoother and softer.

I can't afford this.. But I am insanely tempted
For anyone with oily or combination skin, this cream has been a pleasant surprise. I have struggled with shine and oily patches, especially around my T-zone, and finding a moisturiser that balances hydration without making me look greasy has always been a challenge. This one does the job beautifully.Pros:• Doesn't add any shine to my face at all due to the matte finish• Has a lovely cooling sensation• Thick but creamy, a little goes a long way• Works well as a makeup baseCons:• Bit steep for my budget• A slightly medical scent (not unpleasant but unusual)Brand:Dr Sebagh has a reputation for high-end skincare, and this moisturiser feels luxurious in its texture and performance. I'll admit I've never used this brand before as I cannot afford it but I was keen to know if it's worth it.Thr brand is known for quality ingredients and targeted solutions, which might justify the higher cost. It'd need to be pretty amazing to convince me.First Impressions:Thr product comes boxed simply and has quite clean basic branding. The moisturiser comes in a twisty-top jar with a spoon accessory with it, and a little leaflet with other products to consider in various lines. It's not super overwhelming but this kind of sells it that the product itself is what you're getting here, not fancy packaging.Usage:The cream is a thick, gel-like consistency that spreads easily and absorbs quickly over the face and neck.I love the cooling sensation as it goes on, and it leaves my skin feeling soft without any sticky residue. Even with my oily T-zone, it keeps my skin matte and hydrated throughout the day and I've also not had any breakouts in response to changing to this moisturiser.I've noticed that my pores look slightly clearer, but it may be too soon to tell after 30 days. I have large pores on my nose though that seem to have reduced subtly. There is, however, a definite reduction in shine but doesn't totally remove that pretty "dewy" look my foufnation achieves - a balance that most other moisturisers struggle to achieve on my skin type. It also doubles as a fantastic primer, smoothing my complexion before applying my BB cream, concealer and mineral powder.Verdict:If you are able to splurge on a high-quality moisturiser for oily or combination skin, this is a solid option. It's designed to keep your skin balanced, reduce oil production, and provide a smooth, matte base, making it great for both daily wear and under makeup. However, the price tag might make it a very special treat rather than an everyday staple for me, but if my skin is looking brand new when this pot is finished, maybe I'd be tempted!

Good for balancing oily skin
The texture of this cream is somewhere between cream and gel, with a light pink color. There is a faint smell, nothing disturbing or noticeable. After application, it absorbs quickly and leaves a smooth matte finish, which hides away shiny spots, and reduced the appearance of pores and imperfections. Over the course of the day the skin tends to get gradually oily again, so this cream may need to be reapplied more than just once in the morning. I have not noticed any pronounced long-term benefits from continued use, but it seems to be a good regimen for oily skin. Given its price, this cream is in competition with similar products from other well-recognized cosmetics brands, and I'm not convinced enough by its performance to make a switch.

My wife loves it (and so do I)
This bottle comes securely packaged in a box with a fitted foam base, and entirely encased in plastic. It is not nearly as full as depicted in the pictures on the product page, but it's impressive how much one little spoonful does.It comes with a tiny little spoon, and says to apply morning and night.I don't detect a scent, and it goes on smoothly with no feeling of oiliness or residue whatsoever. I have dry skin on my arms and they feel immediately smoother and less dry after applying just a little bit of this. The first time I used it I was surprised at how quickly and well it worked!I don't know all the ingredients in here, but at least I don't see the specific ones I avoid, so that was a relief =)The drsebagh site is functional and informative. Their address is London but this was made in France. There is a UK phone number on the site, but it also has a chat feature in addition to the Contact page form.My wife used to sell cosmetics and is quite impressed with this and, like me, with how far just a little bit goes. We got some hydrating capsules with "essential ceramides" that you put on before the moisturizing cream and the results are even more impressive, which is saying something because I was shocked just with how well this skin perfecting cream works. Not being that familiar with products like this I thought it was pretty pricey, but you can save a nice chunk of change with the Subscribe & Save.Thank you for reading, I hope it was helpful.

Matte finish for oily skin
My skin tends to get oily only around my nose, but I genuinely appreciate how this cream finishes on my entire face. It leaves a pleasant matte effect, which helps control shine when I apply my foundation. However, I prefer to use it only when I'm doing a full face of makeup, as I find the matte finish less suitable for everyday, natural makeup looks. While it may be considered a higher-end product in terms of price, it's worth noting that it lasts quite a long time for me since I don't use it as an everyday moisturizer. For individuals with very oily skin, this cream could be a worthwhile investment as it effectively reduces facial shine.

Phenomenal priming moisturizer
This Dr. Sebagh skin perfecting cream has become my no. 1 choice to use for makeup days. While my skin type is normal/combination, this is not too drying or overly mattifying. It’s silky, lightweight and smooth; almost like an emulsion gel cream. It’s oil free but yet adequately hydrating for daytime. This cream helps to balance the skin barrier and “perfect” the complexion. The pore appearance is more refined and polished. It gets better throughout the day. No irritations.Dr. Sebagh has some impressive, high performance skincare and I’ve tried its Hyaluronic acid serum in the past. This skin perfecting cream is also remarkable. Highly recommended.

Works well enough but doesn't offer enough hydration for me
Skin type: Oily, sensitive & dehydratedThis has a very light gel-like texture and applies cool to the touch. It wears very comfortably and suits my oily skin. That said, it did not offer my skin type enough hydration on its own. I find that I will need to boost hydration by using a moisturising serum beforehand. Also, I did not observe any mattifying effect that is stated in the product listing. I do accept the possibility that it could be due to my skin being oilier than the stereotypical oily skin. Given the price point ($100 at the point of this review), I will not be repurchasing this.
