Plugged it in, tested it with the included tester and it lit up so everything works. The wire that connects it with the ground of an outlet is a bit thin but as long as it get treated with care it should be fine. The price was great. So far so good.

Changed my life within the first hour. My stomach anxiety (that pesky feeling in your gut that you have but never even realized you had because it's been with you so long?) GONE!!!!! I sat with it under my legs on my recliner and think the continuity severed when I did that. Oops. Expensive mistake. So, both pads stopped doing anything for me. So... I busted out the grounding bands. Nothing! They did absolutely nothing. And when I mean nothing, I mean I re-bought the same product from another company because I needed this back in my life. Thought these were a rip off. As soon as I paid for it on amazon, I intuitively tried ONE MORE THING. I used the band on my arm once again, however this time, I added water to my skin for the metal part to be a better conductor. I'm almost 65% sure this is working. I've only just done it 1 hour ago; but I feel soooooooo much less agitated. So the irony is I re-purchased elsewhere thinking this product was defective, yet I'm pretty sure it works but needs a slight adjustment. Wish they would have suggested this on the instructions!!! Water helps the negative ions from the ground penetrate your skin better outside when grounding/earthing. So, I figured this may be the last ditch effort to try before throwing it away. Idk how safe it is, so try at your own risk. But if the arm bands aren't working, you may need to add a drop or two of water every 15 minutes or so. This product has saved my life! I am mostly satisfied with my purchase. The products seem to be well-manufactured with quality materials and I have confidence they will last a long while through daily use. The grounding mat is padded and is comfortable to lay my forearms on as I type away at my iPad. The wrist strap is stretchy and comfortable, but I’m most happy that it is adjustable. I am a giant and wear the strap on my feet at night and my lady is a size 0 and wears hers on her wrist. So we are at the opposite ends of the size scale. No sharp edges to irritate my skin. The electrical end plugs snugly into the grounding pin of the wall outlet. The snap end snaps onto the mat or wrist strap tightly without a lot of effort. Some reviewers complained of the smell of the mats and that it nearly knocks them out! Yes, they smell like styrofoam but the smell is not obnoxious and I only smell it when I deliberately sniff it with my nose near touching the mat. The main reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that I’m a little irritated that there we’re only two cords in the kit but 4 things that need to be plugged in. Where is the logic in this? I had hoped to use a mat and a strap for me and a mat and a strap for my lady, but I have to buy 2 more cords if I want both of us to make use of all 4 items, because we won’t go through the hassle of porting the cord up and down the stairs each day. The reason I bought this product was because I felt it would be nice to have a his & hers set. I knew it only came with two cords, but I bought it anyway. What was I thinking? I paid extra only to let a mat and a strap sit in a box (unless I can find another pair of cords without straps or mats). *sigh* I should have just bought 2 single sets.

I literally had so much anxiety reading mixed reviews on basically EVERY grounding product. Lots of people saying they're testing and not getting reads. I finally pissed into the wind and just ordered the set to see what fate was in store. Amazon is awesome with returns anyway. This arrived 10 min before my online yoga class so I didn't have time to test it (have a meter but I'm not an electrician, I gotta YouTube how to do that 😂), I whipped one of the mats out and plugged it in for my class. OMG I can absolutely feel this!!! I'm still sitting on my yoga mat just finished class with my feet on the grounding mat and I FEEL it! I moved into an RV where I basically live under a power generator (like a football field length of solar panels) and I don't think the camper is grounded well. I've been struggling with insomnia and even body twitching at night, I wake up after 4-5 hours. I will absolutely write an update, but I have high hopes and a good feeling this is going to help a lot. Additionally!!!! Idk what people are saying about the smell being so bad. I have a pretty sensitive nose. It has a very mild new suede type of smell and I had to put it literally on my face to really pick it up. Maybe there's hit or miss with manufacturing, but so far I'm very happy I bought this package.

I don't feel any improvement in sleeping yet after 40 days using.

I had an injury on my right leg. I had to stay inside, so this is a welcome gift to have for myself and my family. I use it every day for a few minutes every day, and I have noticed a difference I love being able to have it right by my bed, keep my bare feet on it a few minutes each day. I also love the instrument to make sure that it's working that you gave us with the mat. Thank you very much.

I hooked up my multimeter from one end of the cable to the other and did not read continuity. So I switched to read the resistance (ohms) and both cables read 100k ohms! I was shocked so I got an old extension cord and it read 1 ohm, so my meter was working correctly. Then continuity checks from one part of the mat to any other all failed. I worked on military avionics for over a decade and we had grounding mats on all of our toolboxes that we had to test monthly. This is a straight scam. I didn't tear it apart, but I'm assuming the cable has a single 100k on resistor built into it and the mat is just rubber with a metal connector on one end. Just search electronics grounding mat and buy one from startech or a reputable company, not this garbage.

Honestly, I truly believe they are working. I notice the next mornings after kicking the mat aside while sleeping and not touching it with my skin that my hands, get, and joints feel stiff. My menstruation is better. Barely any hip pain/sciatic leg throbbing, back pain. I sleep deeper with less night waking and turning sides. We tested our mats with a meter and it truly brings your body to a 0. The best is skin to mat then 100% cotton sheet is next best. My husband is sleeping better also. My hands aren't falling asleep/tingling in the night or in the morning anymore. I usually go to the chiropractor every other week. I made it a month and still didn't really need to go but already had the appt. I'm now going to invest in the sheet since I know it's effective and worth the cost.

The item is good. Worth purchasing. I will recommend friends and family members to purchase.

I bought 2 of these mats. Initially I thought, that they were a total waste of money, but I kept them as potential gift for my gimmick loving relatives. Then something happened that made me change my mind. I suffered what could be described at tennis elbow. Really painful tendonitis. After 3 days of really bad pain, in desperation ... I dug out one of the mats and rested my elbow on it whilst watching TV. Unbelievably, after 2 hours, my elbow felt much better. So I wrapped the mat around it, secured it with two velcro straps and went to sleep with it. I don't sleep much, 4 hours if that, but when I got up, the pain was gone. It is now two days and the pain has not returned.

Received the items within a week. Tested the continuity of the product plugged to the wires, but there seem to be no continuity. Connection is broken?? How do i test if the grounding mats are working fine? Dont want to get shorted!
